Seems like a rather large extension for a guy that is always injured.
And yet it seems like a rather small extension for a guy who was being billed as one of the best guards in the league after his first two seasons.
So, when you combine the two, it evens itself out.
That's how I see it too. High risk but potential for high reward (from an economice standpoint). I think its worth. Certainly not as headscratching as some of the other contracts out there right now.
They already have so many injury prone players with big contracts, they can't afford another one, and it isn't like if everyone stays healthy they are a real contender. They should have just taken the risk with Curry and seen where he was at the end of the year or traded him. Just too much risk for that franchise in its current situation.
