Is this a rivalry stemming from the elbow incident?

Rajon Rondo committed a flagrant foul on Dwyane Wade during the fourth quarter of the Miami Heat's 120-107 win over the Celtics.

"It was a punk play," said Wade about the foul after the game. "He clotheslined me."

wade says he was about to throw the ball at rondo but stopped himself because his kids were watching

"I was glad I was able to stop myself in that very moment and move on from it. We'll see next time we play"

Poor Dwyane. Maybe you can hit the locker room, massage LeBron's cramp or something.

wade really shouldn't talk about punk plays, considering how many players he has taken cheap-shots at..

like Collision in the indiana series?

Andrew Bynum says that Wade doesn't even know what a clothesline is. Yet.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I love it. I don't know why, i just loved it.

I think it's payback from the no call slap in the face during the playoffs. Or a send off gift to say "we're coming back and get you guys."

Either way, live it. Wade has became a whiny you know what. Glad Rondo gave him a little something.

The irony dirtiest player in the NBA mouthing off on what he perceives as "Punk Play".  ::)

Oh yea there is bad blood and surprisingly I think they used to be at least good acquaintances.
Rondo hates him and as sad as it is I love it so much. This is not some "buddy best friend lets go eat after the game" type of opponent. This is the "I hate you, your face, your jawline, and everything you stand for" type of opponent.

On Wade's comments...man if I could say what I want I could, but since this site restricts profanity I can't state it.
But man Wade is at the top of my hate list. He even surpassed Kobe Bryant on that list.
All I will state is he can't say NOTHING about about ANYONE being a punk period. There is evidence all through YouTube to show his punk play so he needs to stop with the "woe is me i'm the victim that did no wrong" attitude. He's the definition of a punk.

D Wade just destroys his own credibility when he spouts stuff like that.  I mean, he even takes cheap shots in the NBA all-star game.  Everyone remember last year and Kobe? DWade is one of the biggest cheap shot artists in the NBA.

I like it that Rondo isn't afraid to give a hard foul.  Was it a flagrant 1?  yeah maybe, but on any given night, maybe not.  I liked the other hard foul KG gave on Chalmers too.  KG's wasn't a cheap shot, it was a hard foul that stopped him from getting the basket.

Speaking of dirty plays, that was a fairly nasty hit Dwight Howard just put on Elton Brand.

Anyway, I hope they don't decide to suspend Rondo for that little love tap.
