I'm starting to really hate Wade. He so dirty he plays it during the All Star game. Like really? Who hits someone in the face during an all star game.

I wish someone decks him hard. I don't care who. I don't usually wish injury upon players but Wade is the only one. I still believe he took down Rondo in 2011. Lets have someone do the same to him

Wade is a punk, Rondo is the better player. And second of all Wade really needs to fix his hairline jeez!

Am I going to be the first person to come out and say it:

It was a punk play. The game was over. There was no need and if Rondo did it a little harder he could possibly have been suspended for a Flagrant 2. It was dumb and a punk move.

That said, Wade should be the last person to call out punk moves against him given all the ones he pulls off and gets away with because of favoritism from the league and refs. When he grabbed Rondo by the face and shoulder and pushed him out of the way for a lay up, there was no call and then Rondo got a technical because he was complaining about the most blatant favoritism call of the night.

Wade got a very famous no call against Rondo that cost the Celtics game one last year in the ECF.

Wade dislocated Rondo's elbow on one of the dirtiest pull downs I have ever seen.

Wade sent Darren Collison into the fourth row on his hip check from behind without a suspension.

The man has massive favoritism from refs and the league office alike. He should keep his mouth shut when some of the cheap stuff comes back to visit him. But then again, its always the privileged who complain about how bad they have it, so I guess it is to be expected.

I think the C's need to make the heat as uncomfortable as they possibly can when they play them.  They need to play better defense and not let them get anything easy.   If we need to take some rough fouls (but clean) then that is what we need to do.  Somehow we need to regain the mental edge.

Definitely agree! Miami looks a little too comfortable vs Boston for my taste (remember Lebron laughing in KG's face in the playoffs?)

The more you intimidate a team, the more you throw them off their game plan. As for what Wade said, he's a horse's as* so it doesn't really matter

I actually like the fact that this has become a legitimate rivalry where the teams generally hate each other.  You don't see that professional sports much anymore.

For the play?  I could care less.  These guys are grown men.  If it's not a legitimate real world crime, I really don't care and am not going to get worked up about it and stand on some pedestral denouncing it.  Especially a play like that.

Totally agree. Maybe it's me, but Wade didn't seem like such a **head before Lebron came to Miami. He clearly thinks he's something special now because he's playing with his friends. It reminds me of a 5th grader, really

Well, Nick, Moranis actually said all of this on the previous page, so I guess that would make you the second to say it, haha.

I'm standing with you two on this.  It was a retaliation that was probably initiated by the no-call on the Wade arm-bar that he put on Rondo to prevent Rondo from defending a layup, and i'd imagine that Rondo's foul was further backed with lingering issues with Wade stemming back to the dislocated elbow...(also, how about that table top move Wade pulled on JGreen earlier in the game? looked a little sketchy)

It was a bit dirty, but as Yoki said, I loved it.  Basically sending a message saying "if you keep this (bleep) up, someone's going to get hurt."

I hope this doesn't become a theme with Rondo, but the message was sent.

YOu and me both.  I have been arguing this exact point since page 3 of this thread.

I read the first 2 pages and then decided to post. Late to the game I guess but if you also said it, TP. I agree 100%

I'm wondering if Wade dared accuse Rondo of a punk move while being perfectly aware of his own punk moves - most notably the one on Rondo in the 2011 playoffs -  or if he did it while considering his own very moves were totally done in the spirit of the game...

I also liked the fact that he claimed he didn't react because his kids were showing and then threatened Rondo to watch for some payback in their next game. What a joke.

ESPN has a poll up right now "Is Rondo a dirty player?"

Give me a break.  After all Wade has done in the last two seasons and he has started out this one no better.  He undercut Green and he clearly hooked Rondo.  He also just jumps into defenders and he gets calls and if he doesn't he just whines.  He has become insufferable.

Rondo should have done worse.

I have to say I was also very dissapointed in Kerr last night.  Usually a big fan but he gave Wade a pass on all of this and hardly acknowledged Wade's obvious hook.  He gushed about Miami all night.

I for one am incensed over Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.'s (my name for DWade) hypocrisy and whining. First off lets look back to when he broke Rondo's arm. I'm about 85% certain that it was a deliberate takedown of Rondo in an attempt to injure him. That would make Wade one of the dirtiest and immoral athletes out there. period. \

Secondly, did Rondo, or even Kobe cry about it being 'punkass'? No? Well maybe they should've.

Someone needs to make people aware of what appears to me to be a complete bias towards Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline., ecspecially as someone who does injure players.

I'm very confused about why players, Rondo, others don't make mention of Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.'s intentional injuring of other players.
