Nah -- Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook and Tony Parker are all miles ahead of Jeremy Lin.
I can't see him breaking into that group next season. Too much work (development) to do before he threatens those guys.
Steve Nash, Steph Curry, Ricky Rubio, Ty Lawson, Mike Conley are all superior PGs too. I could see Jeremy Lin's gaudy scoring numbers pushing him ahead of everyone except Steph Curry on that list in the All-Star Voting though. Oh, Goran Dragic too. Better than Lin.
It'll be interesting to see how much Dirk Nowitzki helps open up Collison's game. A similar style of play as JJ Barea. A better version of Barea. Collison could provide strong competition to Jeremy Lin in the West also.
Andre Miller (Nuggets backup PG) isn't far off Jeremy Lin either. Not as strong a player in go-to scorer role but a comparable and slightly better complementary player.
Tyreke Evans is quite similar to Jeremy Lin as a starting guard. I'd take Tyreke over Lin.
I'd say three teams have worse PGs option that Jeremy Lin - New Orleans (Vasquez), Portland (Lillard) and Utah (Mo Williams).
