Okay, so I see your point. You're scared of Bradley's shoulders being made of glass and we see his career tumble because of chronic shoulder problems, which may or may not happen.
The problem is no team would take that chance of trading value for someone who could very well have his career ruined by injuries. Especially when those injuries have just occurred. I don't think even Pat Riley could sell that.
Plus, Bradley's shoulders may not even be a problem, and he could be Rondo's running mate that he's always wanted. Bradley already is one of the best perimeter defenders in a league that is now populated with quick and athletic guards (Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook, and Derrick Rose come to mind). Last season his offense was starting to come to form and he showed why people think he could be as good as Joe Dumars. The upside on this guy is quite high. I'm not ready to give up on him yet.
Another reason why the shoulders might not be a problem for Avery is that now Courtney Lee is on the team. Lee isn't as good as Absolute Zero, but he can definitely fill in for him because of his perimeter defense and his athleticism and 3 point shooting too. Lee doesn't have the upside Bradley does, but what he does is make Bradley's absence much easier to swallow. With him in the fold, we can have Bradley take as much time as he needs to fully recover. There's no rush to bring him back into the rotation.
