does no one else see that avery will prob get traded?  it might be half way through the season like perk was, but i think it'll happen.  it's the most logical thing to do, hear me out:

ive heard a bunch of times doc say avery cant play point. he's a SG. what is jason terry? he's mainly a shooting guard who can play point guard, but only if necessary. he'll mostly play SG. courtney lee just got signed for 4 years. the jet got signed for 3 years. if dionte christmas makes the team, how many SG's will we have?  back-up point guards are easy to come by.

what arent easy to come by are centers. i don't care what anyone says, except for fab melo (but he's so raw he doesnt count), we dont have a legit 5. stiemsma is going to minny. kg is a PF who reluctantly plays the C position.

now if im danny, and i look at my tradeable assets i have pietrus and dooling (and maybe stiemsma?) in sign and trades, i have avery (who is basically getting replaced by courtney lee, i have a 2013 first rounder, two 2014 2nd rounders, and a 2015 first rounder to try and someway find a decent starting center. (the 2014 first rounder wouldn't and couldn't be traded in such a scenario coz you can only trade a 1st every two years)

the life of the current team is basically at least 3 years now.  but how would you go about getting a starting center with the assets danny has?

i love avery. i knew he was gonna eventually turn into a beast when everyone else said he didn't belong in the nba, but don't you think the writing's on the wall? i saw the writing on the wall before perk got traded - and i love perk, but danny is a logical dude, no emotion - like the aliens from the tv show V  :)

maybe im wrong  :)

I see why he can be traded. Young athletic guard who can play lock down D and is above average on offense. Like a young TA but with more offense. Translation in a year maybe 2, very trad-able.

However he is still on a low paying contract which wouldn't bring much back except a similar contract. If he is traded, ideally it would be after a stellar 3rd (2nd really) season with us where he improves even slightly and we sign him to a Courtney Lee type deal. That would allow us to bring more value back. However, if AB is making 4-5 mil for us after another great year, what could we really trade him for? Green and AB for Josh Smith? IDK, but with Lee here it does make trade ideas interesting.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

I think you're wrong.

But, if Bradley does get traded, it would likely be in combination with a few other higher salaried players (Bass/Green-possibly) for an All-Star caliber PF.  Teams don't just trade quality centers unless forced or getting another one in return, and Bradley is not worth giving up for a mediocre C.

KG is our starting C, get used to it.

Way off on your Tradar, home skillet. He's 21, paid in peanuts, and a beast in the making.

the acquisition of Courtney Lee has NOTHING to do with avery bradley...

originally the plan was to have a bench of Terry/Allen with bradley in the starting unit....since Allen went to Miami, the C's had to replace his "shooter off the bench" and went out and grabbed Lee.

Bradley is a VERY important piece to us competing next year...hes our best on-the-ball defender and can handle guys like D.will, Wade etc. one-on-one.

Also, KG might "reluctantly" play C, but he sure does a darn good job at it.

Wouldnt be happy with trading Bradley but if it was inevitable Id welcome Bradley + filler & cash for Timofey Mozgov.

so you dont think that if danny could complete a trade with toronto for Jonas Valančiūnas he wouldn't pull the trigger and get rid of avery? Jonas Valančiūnas hasnt signed with toronto yet, but will soon, and is a beast in the making. or maybe demarcus cousins?

big difference between jonas  and Demarcus Cousins..

IF bradley is traded, its going to be in the future in a package for an all-star calibar player.

Danny's not trading a 21y/o prospect on a cheap deal for a short-term mediocre center.

No. Can people please stop thinking we're trading our most valuable young asset not named Rajon Rondo? This guy has got a lot of Joe Dumars in him. Elite defensively and coming into his own on offense. And he's only 21. Bradley may very well be the last guy Danny is thinking of trading. Even with Courtney Lee on the team.

Do people forget he was averaging 15 points a game in April when he was inserted into the starting lineup for good? How are you not excited for that for a whole season? Bradley and Rondo are arguably the best young backcourt duo in the league!

Sac would never trade Cousins for Bradley.

Jonas (Vala-whoever) has proven less than Bradley, so, no.
