Wizards select: Derrick Rose

I am shocked Rose lasted this long. I expected him to go in the first round regardless of his injury. Some team that was building for 12 months from now (or a Team of the Future) rather than this season.

Excellent guy to put alongside Pau Gasol. They'd be a fun duo to watch.

I don't like this Rose thing... I kind of wish he was taken out of the draft altogether to simplify things.  Make the arguments more about the sport of basketball rather than a "will he wont he play" argument.  My personal beliefs right now are that he won't.  And anybody else who has posted in this blog over the past couple weeks saying that "celts are the #2 team in the east" also clearly believe the same.

Lowry is a great pair for Lebron and Granger was simply WAY too good of a talent to pass up there.  Any GM who passed on Granger this round I think didn't make the most of their pick.  He was the BPA at 3.1 in my eyes
