The New York Knicks select: CARMELO ANTHONY

Very solid pick, on a team where Carmelo is the primary offensive option I think he can still be an elite scorer
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

Carmelo is an interesting player. He had a lot of success late this season by going small, just like LBJ/Durant did. I wonder if any of those teams will committ to that as their primary line up and draft accordingly.

How the mighty have fallen.

Carmelo's star has lost a lot of luster, but he's better than a lot of the guys taken thus far.

I got your back. I believe in Melo

There is no debate.... to get this talent this late in the first round is unheard of. If this was a real draft he would of went top 10 no questions asked!!!!!

Carmelo is a good pick. I thought he played well in the playoffs. Good value at 22.

Do you have an early 2nd rounder and a late 3rd rounder? Would you prefer to have 3.11, 3.15, 3.23 instead?? ??

Just write that PM!  :)

Carmelo is a nice pick for this stage of the draft. I thought he'd go in that 12-17 range.

Melo and Dirk are two that fell this year. Excellent value picks.

Melo is a great pick  and better then about 4-6 players who have already gone.

The reason he's not a Laker is because I hate Melo.

Why did Denver get so much better when Melo left though?

I like 1 or 2 guys better, but absolutely agree that he's great value at the end of the 1st.

who he's paired with will matter.

Team was tired of being dragged through trade talk, and they got a really good return for him.
