Chandler is a player I like a lot and I expect a bounce back season. James Johnson isn't a player I trust at all. But GC should be able to make three more picks tomorrow work for him.

No, i'll spare the details (just cuz they're uninteresting) but basically I felt like I'd been a jerk/needlessly pushy when our original deal had the wrong picks... so i offered a renegotiation. if you look at the 2 deals together they end up being:

New Orleans trading 6.18 (Tiago Splitter) to Brooklyn for 7.19 (James Johnson) and 8.6

Chandler is a player I like a lot and I expect a bounce back season. James Johnson isn't a player I trust at all. But GC should be able to make three more picks tomorrow work for him.

Yeah i like Chandler > Johnson ---- but not by as big a margin as you evidently, b/c I think JJ has developed into a plus defender which is why we drafted him to fit with our scorers.

But ultimately, I like being decent > being jerk which is why we worked out effectively undoing the orignal Wilson Chandler deal. I'd rather lose out and all sides be cool with it than the opposite.

TWW deserves twice the TPs of either WD or me. You guys have literally no IDEA how tough, boring, and meticulous the job he's done so far and continues to do is. It's the worst part, by like a million times, of being a commish in this draft, and he's saving wdleehi literally hours of boring tedious, usually under-appreciated work.

I cannot tell you how annoying 'can somebody please update the board/players list' gets be right about this part of the draft. To the point where expletives fly freely at your computer towards even posters you've known for years as friends.
