MKG and Barnes potential is very high. And they compliment each other.

Irving has higher potential than those two combined, and then some, and again, is better than Lowry today.

I agree, no argument here. Better than Lowry now, by a line, not far off. You say better offense I say better defense. How about look at the team and how Lowry fits thE team?

He's 20 and has Ray Allen/Steve Nash-like shooting ability and efficiency. He will be a top 3 PG in no time whatsoever. Lowry isn't in the same discussion as a player.

Lowry in terms of talent today, absolutely is in the discussion as a player.
No...he really isn't

If anybody here wants to discuss deals with me before you make them if you aren't sure I would be happy to give advice.  Even if you are shipping a star player to somebody in my division i will give honest advice.

Please for the love of god start asking for advice people.  Doesnt have to be me, can be anybody.  You could even go back in time and call Rick Kamla's fantasy basketball show.  Just please talk it out.

Irving is a better player now and is not coming off of a weird, debilitating stomach ailment.

I'll look at this as a glass half full -

It appears as if this will finally be the end of the all the Kyle Lowry nonsense.

I really just don't care to continue the debate. In my opinion, this is the most indefensible trade at least in the past three drafts.

Lowry is a good player, so please don't run to the other side of the ship and trade HIM for 40 cents on the dollar, but that was an awful trade in every possibly way.

Pure talent...its not even close.

Its like saying David Lee is as good as Blake Griffin or Chris Kaman is as good as Greg Monroe because the numbers are similar.

Griffin and Monroe are world's better than those guys because of pure talent and ability to grow that talent. Those other guys aren't getting any better. And its the same with Irving and Lowry.

Yup.  I'm around and appreciate the fact that some people have reached out to me.

I also don't have any dog in the fight this year, either.

Can we move on from the trade? People are not talking about Detroit's excellent pick of Spencer Hawes enough.

Fine. I hated the Spencer Hawes pick, I thought there was a significantly better center still available.
