Ray's clutch shooting and spreading the floor is better. But Lee's over all offense, gets out and runs, cuts, drives is better.

I think Lee will make the offense run smooth, like it did when AB was in the line up. He can cut, and spot up, and will run with Rondo which would be nice to have only one or two players trailing instead of the 3 or some times 4.

Rondo
Lee
Green
Wilcox
KG

At some point we may see that line up on the floor at the same time, good on D and will run the crap out of most other teams.

It's not about who's better. Obviously, Lee would be better at this stage of his career, because he's much younger than Ray Allen. Lee, can do things that, Ray Allen can't at the stage of his career.

Right now, maybe Ray.  Over the next 3 seasons, probably Lee.  But the real question is, who's better Ray or Lee and Terry.  That's a no brainer.

Ray, at least next year.  Lee is a nice consolation prize, though.  He doesn't have star power, but will be a great glue guy.

Definitely Ray.  Even when he was limping around on the floor, defenders clung to him every where he went.  Teams are still very worried about him.

for this team lee, felt the c's were too old at the wings last year

plus ray was jealous of rondo and would of been a disruption.

Judas is ancient. One trick pony player at this point.

Picked Lee.

I'd rather have Lee for 4.5mil than Ray for 6 - especially if it keeps the Cs under the luxury tax and allows us to sign a center with the BAE.

And leaves us with someone who can still walk in three years.

12 people on that poll don't know basketball (Steven A. Smith voice)

I can answer that poll with two videos. NBA finals vs. the Lakers, what each player did in the clutch.

Lee has proven to be nothing but a journey NBA player thus far in his career (although he is one that actually plays and not just rides the pine).  If he was "that" good he wouldn't be on his 4th NBA team in 5 seasons.  I would have preferred Ray for this coming season's team.

Remind me of that rolling stones song:

Ray fits better on Miami but Lee get the edge on this years Celtics.  The drop off in Ray's ball handling and passing will not matter much with the heat barring injury to Lebron.

There is absolutely no way that the answer isn't ray and its just ludacris to think otherwise.... With that being said, lee is a great and serviceable replacement for Ray.
