He can't shoot and looks like a woman. No thank you based on the can't shoot part. 40% field goal percentage is horrible.
Field goal % isn't a good measure for him, or really anyone. TS% is better, and by that measure he's better off than peaches or OJ Mayo.
What do people want for those pennies we are offering, MJ? If we land any one of those guys they will probably see the floor as much as Dooling did last season (which was little) now with JET on board (even less, if/when AB is ready to go)!
Yeah, when I really think about it, and maybe I'm going out on a thin limb here, the fact that the bigs are the ones getting overpaid these days more than likely means there's less money to go around for the smaller fellas. As in, everything else being equal, I bet Delfino could demand a good $3-4M, which actually wouldn't be a big deal considering he apparently made $3.5M last year, but he'd probably be outta our price range as a result.
So, as far as I see it, even though Delfino is 2nd fiddle to a Lee or Mayo, if we could infact get him for the BAE or less, I'd say lucky us, all things considered.
At the end of the day, though, I am encouraged that the Celtics are preparing to move on from Lee, and not stay tied up in whatever the Rockets decide to do concerning Howard. There's not as much time before training camp as people think, you know.
