Has Frye ever been an effective player away from Nash? 

Yeah, he had a good rookie year with the Knicks.  And, Rondo is as good a passer as Nash anyway. :P  That being said...

I agree.  (Though, I like to look for defense-first at every position.)  Channing Frye is like Troy Murphy without the rebounding.  Pass.

Not sure if Frye is the answer, but the Celtics could definitely use a big with three-point range.

No fries with my Boston thank you ...all I can rem,eber him from is the horrible shooting slump he had there once that really screwed the team up when they needed him.
