Felton is awful, the Knicks just can't help themselves when it comes to "name" players.

Also if the Knicks can keep coming up with Sign and Trades with the scraps they have on their roster then DA should be able to pull something off for us in a S&T.

Yes. Best news for Jeremy Lin. Houston is best destination for his future. He can grow and develop his game without the bright lights of New York City.

Happy to see Jeremy Lin go to Houston.

Lousy move for New York. I think Felton is going to really struggle alongside Shumpert, Melo, Amare and Tyson. I hope this means Jason Kidd will start and Felton will come off the bench.

Felton was pretty good for them his first time around. Honestly I thought it was a mistake that they traded him, even if it was to ger Carmelo.

From a hoops standpoint i understand letting Lin walk. Too unproven for that deal. But from a business standpoint I think it's dumb. Lin alone brings in enough revenue to pay for at least half the team roster annually based off merchandise type sales.

Just when the Knicks make two good moves adding veterans Camby and Kidd for cheap, they go and do something like this, and totally un-reedem themselves! in typical knicks fashion. Bad move for them.

Felton played at near all star numbers on the Knicks next to Amare.  (17 and 9)

Amare was his most effective as a Knick next to Felton.

And Lin and Melo didn't fit together well.

I can understand the move.  It is a rolling the dice for basketball reason.

I have a feeling Felton playing D'Antoni-ball is going to be better than Felton playing in Mike Woodson's Iso-Melo offense.

Not arguing that, but that the exact same with Lin.

Blazers will sign guard Raymond Felton to a three-year, $10 million deal and then trade him to Knicks in sign and trade, source tells Y!

So, it is the difference of 3 years 10 million or 4 years 28 million.

Is Renaldo Balkman still on the Knicks roster? I'm guessing it's him and Dan Gadzuric's non-guaranteed contract heading to Portland.

Edit: Kurt Thomas is heading to NY too. Really hoped the Celtics could have acquired him.

Didn't the knicks only just trade OUT Felton a season or two ago?

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Funniest part of this story: all those reports of Knicks not getting the Lin offer sheet was clearly stalling. A ploy that we'll see again, and it will be way more hilarious the next time.

Lucky: it's Jeffries and Danny boy
