Impressed.  Bass and Green will get squeezed for mpg by these guys.

All 3 can contribute right away.  JJJ and Moore on the otherhand...

wouldn't be surprised to see this rotation shake out:

Rondo/ Terry
AB/ Joeseph
PP/ Green
KG/ Sully/ Bass
Melo/ Steamer

with Dooling, MP, Quis and JJJ rounding it out.

Is there anywhere online that has a replay of this game? On vacation and missed it.

I like what I saw from Sullinger.  He could stand to lose some weight, but fortunately he seems to have the work ethic and the will to do it.  A couple of his made shots were difficult.  Can he continue to hit tough shots?  I'd also like to see him show an ability to create a good look inside against length - I'm pleased with his ability to shoot, but honestly I'm more interested in him as a post player.  We have enough jumpshooters.  I did like his ability to get to the line and convert free throws - we sorely need that.

LOVED what I saw from Melo, although maybe this is because I wasn't expecting much.  That's not to say I think he'll step right in and be a factor.  He's still a project.  But I saw reasons to be hopeful.  He has good instincts on defense, good timing on contesting shots, and very impressive quickness for his size.  Can he maintain that quickness while bulking up to battle in the low post and on the glass?  He has a long way to go to become a rotation player, but I see reasons for optimism in him - he has certain things that you can't teach, and I attribute most of his flaws to youth and lack of experience.  He can be a solid asset if he puts in the work.

Not sure what to think of Kris Joseph yet.  I'd like to see what he can do in a more structured setting (this goes for all three of the new draftees).

Sean Williams is a loose cannon.  Looks like a gamechanger on one play, makes a boneheaded play the next.  Unfortunately, I'm starting to believe that this is just what he is and that it won't change.  I'd love to see him prove me wrong because we need depth at the 5, but I don't think he can do it - just seems to lack basketball intelligence.

Didn't like what I saw from the two picks from last year - I've voiced my thoughts on them elsewhere.  In my opinion, they both face steep uphill battles to becoming rotation-worthy players on a good NBA team.

I like all three rookies and thought the celtic bigs played well as a whole. Our backcourt play was a little subpar.

Sullinger and Joeseph seem NBA ready.  Let's just hope Melo wants to be a great basketball player he has a long way to go but its a long NBA season and at least he is athletic. I think it will all come down to desire with that guy and whether or not he becomes a good player.

I am for Danny not giving Doc any more veteran bigs.  I think Sullinger is ready to play along with Bass and KG and I want the other young bigs to get a chance although Jeff Green will take some minutes at the four.

Maybe Dooling for the vet min and best big shooting guard available to the biannual exeption? Or maybe we keep that exeption in our back pocket for now along with a small amount of room under the luxury tax.

I'm starting to think Danny is thinking the same way, though Sullinger is the only one who looks "Doc ready" to me.

I asked about Christmas...I thought he looked good, too.  Was told that he has been in the league three or four years.  Either he is a late bloomer, or he is not as good as he looked today...of course it was only summer league, but I will keep an eye on him...

I think the announcers said something to the affect of "Christmas is playing like a guy who needs a job."  It was clear to me he was prepared for the action, I thought his all-around game was great.  He really made E'twaun look bad because he had fewer touches and what seemed to me like more assists.

We definitely need another vet big man to play Center.  KG doesn't want to play it (despite his obvious effectiveness in that position) which leaves either of the 2 rookies to play it which is not an acceptable option.  Based on who's available, we could use at least one of Krispy, Wilcox or Steimsma to return.  None are really starting quality but they've at least played a bit in the league

I myself was quite impressed with Thomas Robinson's 15 point 16 rebound night.  Pretty crazy

Athletes with length destroyed Sullinger.   I think that being said that Sullinger is the most NBA ready.
