If I'm Boston, no.

If I'm a rebuilding team that holds rights to a late 1st, like Cleveland, I might be willing to give up a pick.

I don't know, after that game I'd say a half eaten bag of peanuts.

Don't forget the four turnovers.  And against the Magic, no less.

If it's a 2013 pick, yes. Our team is going to be pretty good next year and it's a weak draft. Just to be safe I'd still put lottery protections on the pick.

Both Woj and ESPN are reporting that a Howard-to-Brooklyn deal is close.  One of the interesting things is that the Magic don't seem to want MarShon Brooks, and need to find another team to take him for a 1st rounder.

Would you send out Sean William's non-guaranteed deal plus a #1 for Brooks?

100%! Anyone who has seen him play/followed his path knows he's a stud in the making who can provide solid bench scoring. Let's do this!

Beyond a mediocre year with the Nets, are we talking about the same path that 20 other GMs saw and decided not to take?

Marc Jackson averaged 13 in his rookie year.  The awful center, not the point guard.

This gave me a laugh.

Jamal Crawford and MarShon Brooks, huh?  There's not going to be a ton of ball movement from the SG position.

According to ESPN, the nets ned a 4th team to make the D12 deal. They want to flip Brooks for a future 1st rounder that they can send to Orlando.

E'twaun + a future #1 should work under the new CBA since Moore's salary for this coming season isn't guaranteed. I wonder if Ainge has looked into this?

Marshon Brooks is a bad defender, selfish, chucker, and does nothing (and I mean absolutely nothing) besides score the ball inefficiently. He's just not a good fit for us.

I'd give the Nets the awful PurDuo, who looked lost - again -in the Thunder summer league game.

Nothing more.

Yes! he can shoot, and he's cheap.

if we get Cortney Lee, then we can trade him with other expandable players for future pick or other positions.

if we don't get Lee, we can develop Brooks as our backup SG, he's got freaking long arms, if doc wants to coach him, he may become a much better player, he's only 23 after all.
