Whoa-oh, it was good, livin with you

High road, power move.

Really good song....but I will puke if they play that for Ray.

Ray deserves to be burned in effigy.

The Celtics, as an orginization can not show any such emotion though.  It just looks like sour grapes, and stands to do nothing but give them a bad name.  The Celtics franchise should be above that.  There will be no song, no tribute, nothing.  He will be treated as nothing more than some average player who parted ways.  It will be as if the Celtics barely even noticed.

As fans though, I hope we boo him unmercifully.  I want to see over-the-top, obnoxious style loathing raining down upon him.  Make sure he knows he will never be looked upon favorable ever again around here.

I'm starting to hope that Pierce does go ahead and finish out his career as a L*ker.

We're already thinking of how we'll respond when Ray Allen is first announced, on the Garden floor, as a member of the Miami Heat.

Part of the problem is, he may not be announced.  I don't really see him as a starter for the Heat.  But, he'd still be announced when he subs into the game.

My suggestion is: absolute silence.  I suggest this for a couple of reasons.  One is, a measure respect for what he gave us for five years; I don't think I could boo him.  It's also my message that he would have been better off retiring than going to be Dwyane Wade's backup: "nothing" would have been a better choice.

I think it would be a striking and memorable moment if we greet him with as much nothing as possible.  What do you think?

not a bad idea, but the reality is, it could never happen.  17/18 thousand fans wont stay silent.  too many casual fans, and fans of ray allen himself to pull something like that off.  i say, let the individual person do what they want instead of trying to orchestrate some group thing.

I really like it but it would be hard to pull off, with silence everyone in the audience needs to do it otherwise it isn't effective.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

"I guess the change in my pocket wasn't enough..."

www.youtube.com/watch?v=pc0mxOXbWIU
This thread, this post, and the following came to me in the shower:

I see you ballin' 'round Miami,
With the team I hate, and I'm like,
Forget you!

I guess two years, and twelve million,
wasn't enough, and I'm like,
Forget you! And forget the no-trade too!

If you weren't a ****er,
we'd still be wictcha,
Ain't that some sssshh?
So although there's pain in my chest,
I wish you the best, with a
Forget you!

Yeah I'm sorry, about Avery,
But that don't mean you can't be sixth man,
I pity the fool, that passes the ball to you,
he can't create without Rajon
just thought you should know, Riley

And then I was done shampooing. Off to work.

I say every fan should get a free battery at the gate and Boston shows Philli how it's done.
Back to wanting Joe fired.
