Hey, at least he'll get his number retired in Miami for sitting on the bench

You think Ray could play better D than Terry?

Significantly better.

not from what i saw in the playoffs

I take it you missed the part where Ray hurt his ankle?

I take it you haven't been watching Ray play for the past two years?

I have NEVER been so upset with a player in my entire sports fandom. It really has nothing to do with him leaving. Avery Bradley won the starting spot and if he was healthy the C's would be hanging banner 18. It has to do with the fact that he was offered double the cash to stay in Boston and offered only the 3rd no trade clause in modern day NBA...Danny Ainge was trying to do right by Ray even though his skills no longer merited the award...yet he chose to head to a rival instead. He said he would have stayed in Boston for 9 million a year, but they wouldnt give it to him so he went to the cHeat for 3 mill...
 Again, it may end up better for the celtics on the court, but that isn't the point...
 Rick Fox just lost his top spot on my benedict arnold sports list.

This is Kevin McHale going to the fakers, Dan Marino going to Buffalo, Archie Griffin transferring to m!ch!g@n, Terry Bradshaw wearing an Orange Helmet...

It is distgusting...

I will forever be grateful for he did in a Celtic uniform...
 He helped bring KG in...
 He broke Sasha Vujacic's ankles on the way to the greatest comeback in finals history on the way to banner 17...
 He broke the 3 point record wearing the Kelley Green...
 He broke the 3 point record for most 3s in a finals game...

But he has forever tarnished his legacy...
 Russell, Cousy, Havliceck, Heinsohn, JoJo, Mchale, Pierce, KG...True Celtics...

I expect to see #5, #34, and #9 join the record 22 retired numbers...I highly doubt, and I hope #20 never sees that honor...that is only for true Celtics...

  Archie Griffin? Haven't heard that name in a while...

Holy crap...I was so upset while writing this that I left Larry Legend off the True Celtic List...

I feel I must be cleansed somehow...

As Y! had reported, Allen was angry w/ near-trade to Memphis at deadline. Too much acrimony to get past. Off to Miami for less money.

so is this why he missed more free throws than I would have vs Miami? Ray a lifetime near 90% guy shoots barely 60% vs the team he goes to in the off season?? ankles...sure. he wasn't limping through the mia airport either was he?

LOL at the if Avery Bradley was healthy comment we'd be hanging 18. If Bosh was healthy, the Heat win the series in 5. If we get by the Heat the Thunder have their way with us. Face it boys the Heat have the East on lock. 3 of the best bball players in the world are on the same team and now you have legit former all stars taking far less money to join them.

If he wasn't going to Miami we wouldn't care nearly as much..the writing on the wall was there and became even more evident once we signed Terry. Ray was a lot of fun to watch and root for but honestly was not nearly a star anymore, just a good role player who we almost overpaid for.

Let's face it, no way a back court of Terry and Allen would of worked. They would get beat off the dribble every time and be TURRBLE defensively..not even Jenna Jameson has seen that much penetration..

The thing I'm the most upset about now is the cap space and how we now can't spend that money

(please don't ban me for the raunchy comment, I'm very upset!)
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

in your opinion. I'll take Kenny Smith's opinion. he said if we had Green we would have won. Heck we almost won anyways....now imagine if we had Bradley, etc.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

How about we fire up the ol' sign-and-trade engine and run this past Cuban and Riley:

Allen-->Miami
Chalmers-->Dallas
Terry-->Boston

Miami and Boston get to keep their MLEs. Dallas, floundering around in the PG market, gets a year of Chalmers with an option for 2013/14.

Anyone? Anyone?

HUH? Imagine if the Heat had Bosh the whole series. What happened after Bosh game back and actually played starters minutes. It was over. You are hype that we were beating the Heat who was a fairly limited team with 1 of their big 3 out.

I hate that its true but the Heat are getting ready to go on a title run and Ray knows it. Hes hoping to pick up 3 more rings before calling it a career.
