ok danny...who is plan B if ray bolts? young? lee? going to put it all on pietrus?

I think the Celtics are fine with a guard rotation of Rondo/ Terry/ Bradley/ Pietrus. I hope they don't waste any cap space on that clown Nick Young.

Yes, that is a solid rotation.

Agree, pass on Young.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Alex Kennedy says sources are saying Ray is leaning toward the Heat

 >:(

Alex Kennedy is a tool, who works for a tool website.

If we had a 'spitting on the ground in disgust and revulsion' emoticon, Roy would've just used it.

Tanguay's gut says:

Quote
Gary Tanguay  ‏@Gary_Tanguay

Reports...Ray Allen cancels trip to LA. I bet that Pat Riley closed the deal. #UNOSportsTonight#CelticsTalK

I guess he doesn't know LAC signed Crawford and Billups

yeah wow what dumb reporting haha...

I know that was posted to make fun of him but really, Tanguay isn't even worth talking about.  What a dolt.

And I don't trust anyone besides Woj and Spears at Yahoo at this point.

After reading all of Tanguay's tweets today, the tweet I let out was:

Quote
So....is @Gary_Tanguay really that much of a snarky b-hole, or is this 'let @danieltosh take over your twitter day'?

The guy is just flat out trolling celtics fans. He's being snarky, and just throwing out ideas as they come to him, without stating that he has absolutely no credibility here.

Turrible.

Pietrus is getting a fair amount of interest elsewhere according to Chris Mannix today.  He doesn't think MP will return.   BTW -- does think Wilcox and Bass will return.

Where will Ray have his number retired now?

-Milwaukee : Maybe
-Seattle: franchise is defunct
-Boston: Not for a long time
-Miami: Hey they have Dan Marino's jersey hanging from the AAA so why not

I'm a sensitive guy, so I can understand Ray's sensitivity to being dangled multiple times, virtually traded, and benched.

But at the same time, I'm also becoming more mature as I head toward 40, and I would hope that Ray would realize a couple of things:
* he shouldn't be playing 35-40 minutes a game anymore
* concentrating his energy and legs into a smaller window of minutes at this point could make him more effective
* Bradley's defense can really help put the clamps on opponents early in the game
* Ray providing bench scoring could be a real boost to Boston

Boston may not be offering as much money as he wants, but no one else can give him as much as Boston.

And I think a backup backcourt of Ray and Terry would be fantastic, not to mention cementing Ray's legacy as a Celtic.

And I strongly doubt Miami could give him as many minutes as Boston.

And if he thinks he can get more shots playing with LeBron and Wade, he better recognize.

Danny, just give him the no-trade clause. If you want to make a deal at the trade deadline, I'm sure you'll have plenty of other valuable assets to offer.

I agree with multiple posters on here.  If he leaves now after the Celtics threw everything plus the kitchen sink at him then he should get booed everytime here.  If he doesnt have loyalty to Boston then why should we show loyalty to him !!!!  IMO

this is pathetic. Your detailing what Ray Allen should be thinking. Who are you?

Think about what you just wrote and tell my how anybody should tell someone else what type of restrictions they should be following?
