Cheer for him, cuz I believe Ray will be in greenN white next year. This is more than a team, its a family, a brotherhood..... Ray is just sending a message to Danny and Doc that other teams want him! So play him or lose him. Jmo

I do know that Ray will not be remembered as a Celtic around here, just like Damon and Clemens aren't remembered as Red Sox. His number won't be retired for a while and will be the last of the big three to go up to the rafters. I agree with his decision to go for another ring, but it still hurts. I think it's good for both franchises, Miami has an excellent shot of beating the Thunder in the finals again and we get younger...Bradley can replace Ray and Moore is an excellent shooter who can come off the bench.

Remember when Wade and Bosh kept hinting on twitter about LeBron joining them? That's how I know it's done...it's for the best we need to play the kids. I'd rather sign G-Money back anyways.
hmm, how can I put this.  Twitter is for Twidiots.

Bron and Wade also predicted a championship their first year.  How'd that work out?

If Ray signs with the Heat, which I'm currently refusing to believe that he will, I don't know, is it possible to boo, cheer, cry and scream all at the same time?

You keep talking as if he is already gone...

Do you have inside info?

Are you a GM....Danny is that you??  ;D

But seriously pls post a link that Ray has been traded or signed with MIA.

This.

Our G situation will be a bit tenuous until AB gets back, and even then, Avery will need some conditioning time to get in playing shape, right?

So we may not see the AB we all know and love until perhaps January 2013?

Even more reason for Ray to stay in BOS. And knowing Doc, it would take Ray to be playing terribly for him to make lineup changes.

Let's see what the combo of Bradley Moore and Joseph can do...maybe find a tall young guard in the d-league and develop him.

I'd be dissapointed if people do... but if he goes to Miami I can't really blame them.  I won't though.

I don't care what team he is on, he needs to be cheered when he is introduced.

However, once he is actually on the floor for the other team, then its over, and he can be booed just like any other non-C.

It will be a half assed cheer but I and people would do it.

It would be one thing if we had a bad offer, were completely rebuilding. But we just tool the Heat to 7 games and they are one of our biggest rivals.

For him to take less money, with the same role would be pretty bad.

I can blame him, and i will. He can go out "On top" with us. We will have a championship team next year if he returns. Even if he doesn't we will but he will help. Will we be the favorites? We won't be the favorites until we beat the heat in the playoffs. However we are more than capable of knocking them out if we stay healthy. No reason for him to take less money to go there....No reason at all.

I 100% agree.

If Ray's reason is to win a championship which is why he will choose the Heat then something is really up here in Boston. We are offering more money, and we're more loaded now than ever. And I'm confident to say that if we stay healthy and our rookies live up to the promise, the Heat won't stand a chame against us.

If this is really just about being benched then I'll be upset. By the way, he's also coming off the bench in MIA so it doesn't even make more sense. Clearly something is wrong or on his part something is, otherwise he would've signed already.

I'll cheer wen he gets introduced but tht it's. But if he joins the Heat, man I'll be furious.

yeah no question i love(d) ray but all the character in the world can't back up a move to miami, especially if we offer more money.

i'd maybe understand if he hadn't already won a championship. plus we offer almost as big of a chance at a chip as they do next season, winning one there is just taking the easy way out which i can't root for at all.  :-\
