Allthe Lakers gave up was 2 1st and 2 2nd? Wow they got a steal b/c the Lakers 1st round picks will be in the high 20's anyways

It's a sign-and-trade, so you never get fair value.  Basically, the Suns got four picks for free.

Can't really blame Nash or the Suns for doing this. Great deal for both.

That is one heck of a four-man core.

@ArashMarkazi
Steve Nash was swayed to join the Lakers after a determined push from Kobe Bryant and will make $25 million over 3 years.

Everyone of those guys are foaming at the mouth right now, and Kobe's probably smiling ear to ear with those ugly crooked teeth of his

Nash is trying to convince Grant Hill to be the 5th guy in that lineup.  This team is old, but really scary.

Call me crazy, but I'd love to see a good old-fashioned Celtics vs. Lakers final again.

Then again, maybe not.

Why wouldn't MWP be playing at the 3? That lineup would look a lot better with Howard instead of Bynum. Much better defender and would play better with Nash.

Probably because MWP sucks.  Bynum still seems to be the best offer out there for Dwight.  Dwight would cover all of the ground that Nash gives up at the PG position.  That team would be unreal.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Bynum for Howard just makes so much sense right now. If it doesn't get done, call me flat out befuddled.

And I don't think there is a team out there that will be able to stop them as long as Kobe and Nash stay healthy.

Dwight Howard's pride is the only thing I see holding the Lakers back from 2-3 chips aside from Father time.

I really do not like Artest on that team. Too slow and erratic. Ball-stopper. I'd love to see them add someone else and dump Artest.

Not wild about Grant Hill either. Well, not as a starter. I'd like someone that offers more floor spacing. Grant Hill would make a very strong backup SF though.
