Mannix speculating:

Nash-to-LA could ripple down to Dwight Howard. Howard reluctant to play with Kobe. Playmaking Nash on board might change things.

Dwight was the one looking for Orlando to upgrade the point guard position last year. Wanted Chauncey. Nash is better.

And a Bynum-built package still looks like the strongest one out there for Orlando.

This almost feels like Ray going to the Heat. Disappointed in Nash deciding to go to the Lakers.

Ton of money + championship contender + close to his family

I'll root against Nash, but I can't blame him for agreeing to this deal.

If they get Howard, they may be the team to beat in the West once again. But who they got on the bench? Not too worry about the Lakers
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

The Suns will likely receive the $8.9 traded-player exception that the Lakers acquired when they traded Lamar Odom to the Dallas Mavericks as well as the Lakers’ first-round picks in 2013 and 2015 and second-round picks in 2013 and 2014.

So PHX gets 4 draft picks including 2 1sts and the 9 mil exception.  Way better than what the knicks were offering.

I hope his sweaty hair becomes permanently lodged to the front of his face making it impossible to push behind his ears.

Lakers -- hate 'em all.
