Jet is a good signing. Still a good clutch player and he is a character guy too.

If Ray signs with the clips, I think the C's should do a sign and trade for Nick Young. I am not a fan, but he provides another scoring option at the wing position that is young and athletic

Clips don't have bird rights though do they?

Terrible signing.  Used the full MLE, didn't address either of the team's biggest needs, and lost out on the greatest shooter of all time.

are always so negative that your mind cant grasp the simple fact that this does not mean we wouldnt resign ray? we have his bird rights duh, we can sign allen for whatever amount, so using the mle on terry has no effect on us signing ray.

also stop using greatest whatever of all time, russell is one of greatest defender of all time but do you seriously want him on the team?  ::) ::) ::)

I like this move. Keeps us a SG if we lose Ray and if we keep Ray we have a killer combo guard for off the bench.

not big a fan of Nick Young similar to mayo, stats wise volume shooter and not much else.

As for a s&t, because NY was on the roster, they can do a sign and trade, having bird rights doesn't effect s&t, c's sign and traded wafer last year they didn't have his bird rights.

in a sign and trade for young, clips could offer ray 150% of young previous salary or $5.5 million.

When the clips not having young bird rights comes in effect is that they the clips can only offer 120% of his previous salary to resign with them whereas boston could offer him upto 150% of what ray gets from the clippers in a sign and trade

Jason Terry wowow. I always liked this player since he began in Atlanta., he makes his own shot, is a important fit for the C's, we have signed a great player.

Now for me the important thing is to sign Ray too.

 Welcome Jason¡¡¡

Jason Terry is what you would get if you combined Eddie House and Nate Robinson and added 4 inches.

What a waste of time and money.  It's going to be so awesome to watch these guys lose again in the semi's and this board be so happy about how hard they "competed."

In the scenario of a S&T, would LA keep its MLE? If so, that's a win win for everybody.

Why is competed in quotation marks? Are you saying they won't compete and will coast?

It has nothing to do with not resigning Ray ; Ray isnt resigning here.

If he wasn't going to resign here, then did we really, "miss out" on him?

OK, we used our MLE. Assume Ray & JGreen sign. What are options left to add size? Like adding the JET but wondering about the "big picture"

He's more consistent than House...

Much better too...can't believe this guy never made an All-Star Game
