There is a good chance that they already gave the Mavericks a chance to match. I am positive his agent has kept the Mavericks in the loop this whole time for it to get this far.

Also this is signicantly different than the West situation where we had to try and S&T for him and find a taker for JO, that was much more complicated.
If he wants to stay with DAL, he can wait until DWill decides this week.  This is all verbal and non-binding at this point anyway until 7/11.

Deron Williams will reportedly make his decision today. While currently all committments are verbal, most players/agents/teams don't back out of them.

I'd be surprised if Ray returns with Terry and probably Green on board.

Unless Bradley's injuries are serious enough to keep him out most of the year, there just aren't enough minutes.

I have to say, even if this doesnt work out it still gives me a little more confidence about Danny's ability to bring in good Free Agents.

I think he goes back to the Mavericks.

Wow. My mind is reeling right now.

"We're getting Jet!"

"No we're not!"

"Yes we are!"

"Wait and see!"

I certainly hope he lands here, and that we don't miss out on him AND Ray. I think there's room for both, particularly since Jet can play PG.

Jason Terry expected to land a three-year deal paying the mid-level exception from the Celtics, sources told Yahoo!

No wonder why he jumped...

3 years Jesus...

3 Years?! Oy vey....

:(

3 years for a 34 year old SG not named Ray Allen, I don't like it.

Bradley, Terry, and Allen should all play 30 minutes a night. Is the solution that Terry and Bradley are both playing some point? Is Bradley conceivably some kind of trade bait?

Or would this just be built on the (pretty safe) assumption that only 2 of 3 will be healthy most of the time?

Sounds like it's a done deal. Spears is as reliable as there is, no way he puts this out there if they are in the "waiting to match " phase

Ya, and Wojo just re-tweeted.  Like I said I think it was spin from ESPN over not wanting to get beat to the story.
