Both the cousins Green are free agents, and we're in need of a backup wing. Just for fun, if it came down to these two who would you sign?
My pic is now, and will be Fab Melo until he posts his first official NBA dbl-dbl. This may be permanent.

I want Gerald without the hypotheticals! He was a very matured player & person last yr & would help us, Rondo & himself. 6'8 guard/forward. Runs well, Shoots very well, & is a excellent finisher of lobs. Something Rondo has never had to play with. He could provide us 14-16 ppg off of the bench in 28-30 minutes. Exactly what this team needs a scoring bench wing!

Me and KG ended Bias believe in GG. Homeboy is a serious value at this time. Period.

I don't like either, so I didn't vote.  If these two is what it has come down to - as a FA target, then just bring Sasha back and call it a summer.  ;D

I forgot how touchy a subject Gerald Green is around these parts, so I added a third option.  ::)

Gerald will pad his stats in Brooklyn for bigger paycheck. Danny was exposed in the playoffs. Once a scrub, always a scrub.

Yeah, or resign Marquis Daniels who is a better all round player than any of them.

I'd say Danny Green is the better player but both have high and pretty equal potential.  Surprisingly I think I'd lead toward GG because I suspect he'd be a better fit.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Gerald's numbers on NJ were quite good. His defense looks to have improved, and he had the best plus/minus on the team.

Granted it's hard to take too much away from performance on a team that awful, but he is at least a legitimate NBA player now.

And, he could have a role on the Celtics as instant offense off the bench.

I have no idea how to assess his value, though. How much do people think he's looking for?

It'd make more sense to sign the Rev. Al Green than the basketball brain-dead Gerald Green.

I don't want to see him in a Celtics uniform ever again.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."
