Well, what about for $5 million a year?  Because that is what I think they might be interested him at.  I think Mayo's value is pretty low right now, and he may be available on an MLE type make good deal.

Well, what about for $5 million a year?  Because that is what I think they might be interested him at.  I think Mayo's value is pretty low right now, and he may be available on an MLE type make good deal.

yeah, i'd be happy with OJ Mayo for the MLE even though i'd rather have Ray back. I just think it would be ridiculous to offer him more than that. The guy has actually regressed since being a rookie.

But in a league where Kwame Brown gets a one year/8 million dollar deal, someone is going to overpay for Mayo.

maybe but if we throw in the 2 first round picks its better than anything LA can do... not to mention the Lakers want a player and lottery pick and the hawks dont have that

This is true. The Hawks can get more value for Smith, ecspecially after the season he just had.

just saying, having picks 21 and 22 could be very enticing to Atlanta since they already have 23. Control a section of draft by picking 3 guys you want or trade all 3 up for a better pick. I'm sure the hawks arent just hanging up on Danny

This is true. The Hawks can get more value for Smith, ecspecially after the season he just had.

Yes, but how about Bass, and either 21 and 22, plus the 2nd rd Charlotte pick next year? Makes sense especially if White slides and we draft him in order to trade his rights to Atlanta, who wants him.
