per Sam Amick of SI

Milwaukee (No. 12) has considered trading back, and would take a long look at Barton if it did.

hope so, but doubt the c's 2 picks would get them that high .

I also read a rumor earlier today that the Bucks were actually trying to move up in the draft.

Same here.

Perhaps if they can't move up, they'll move down. Lining up a second contingency.

I really hope Danny waits to see who drops to 21 before he trades off these picks.

Today's updated draftexpress mock has Terrence Jones dropping to 21, with Royce White going 18.

Terrence Ross himself could easily drop to 21, but either way, the Celtics are primed for a major talent infusion by keeping both picks.

The Celtics two draft picks for the #12 pick seems like a fair swap to me.

I think that would be a good offer.

I agree.

Here is what Danny said on WEEI regarding moving up.

Quote

While there's been chatter that Ainge would be interested in packaging his picks in order to move higher up in the draft, he said it's unlikely the Celtics' two first-round selections would be enough to vault them into the lottery.

"It's not likely," Ainge said of being able to trade his two picks to garner a spot in the top 10. "That's too high of a move. Typically, maybe in the middle, 16, 17, 15, that's really all you get. ... But that's not even certain. I mean, that usually happens on draft day if there's a team that all of a sudden, they lose out on a player they really liked. So those are the draft day contingencies that you have to be prepared for."

Right.  But that doesn't mean he wouldn't like to move up or wouldn't for the right price--as he also said in that interview he's listening to all offers.  Would just be interesting if he happened to have the best combo of what the Bucks are looking for.
