This right here is rolling the die.

We can get him for nothing (read Bass S&T. Actually, not even. Maybe just Sasha...heck I don't even want to give up Sasha for him.). I think they want him off their hands. I think we could even get stuff from them if we got this guy.

I'm probably exaggerating a little there. But this is definitely one way to get something out of Bass's contract or make use of some of our 'useless' assets (like our picks. Sources say the picks won't be used. I think that's especially true if we get KG back. We could get Thomas + something in return).

If he pans out, he could be a (better) Tyson Chandler. On the flipside, he could be what JO was to us in a different way, just a big body (JO was injured, slow and nonchalant. Thomas would be nonchalant but he wouldn't be as injured or slow).

But it seems like he likes our guys as he was, quote, acting "buddy-buddy as they’re beating [his arse]”.

before u compare Tyrus Thomas to Chandler or JO u gotta remember while he's athletic he's an undersized 4 wit a streaky jumper (good shot blocker tho) his contract is wack as hell if im not mistaken its like $7 mil a year unless he gets amnestied or sumthin i aint tradin for da underachiever known as Tyrus Thomas

He was the third in the depth chart of the Charlotte Bobcats - the worst team in NBA history. He is also paid 7mil over the next 2 or 3 years. Horrible, horrible for our team

There are reasons why the Bobcats were atrocious last season on the court and have put together one of the absolute worst salary cap situations in the league. 

Reason one, Jordan probably spends more time golfing than running his team.  Another reason is the Bobcats gave atrocious long-term contracts to mediocre unmotivated players like Tyrus Thomas.  Pass.

He sucked so much that I think just Bass (or even less) would do. But he's one of those guys who can potentially shoot up in worth after a trade (and it's more likely on a team like our's, especially if KG stays), which is why I proposed it.

Poor facilitators in Augustine and Kemba to get him open shots

Rondo could make him work on both ends of the floor
Let him be 3rd or 4th option on offense and he's left open for cuts tithe basket and 10-12 foot jumpers
