Pretty straight forward -

New Orleans gets a great point guard to go with their new big man.

Boston gets the best under 30 SG in the league and a Top 10 Pick in a loaded draft.
"All I have to know is, he's my coach, and I follow his lead. He didn't have to say anything in here this week. We all knew what we had to do. He's a big part of our family, and we're like his extended family. And we did what good families do when one of their own is affected." - Teddy Bruschi

Wouldn't even consider it unless it is Gordon (on a decent contract, 5 year 55ish million), Jarret Jack and the 10. Also we throw in 22 and the give a future unprotected 1st. Gotta be a great deal to give up Rondo.

NO will probably say no to Rondo for Gordon straight up. They liked Gordon better just 6 months ago, which is why the chose the LAC deal rather than Boston's.

And then Gordon missed the season (basically) and Rondo had the season and playoffs he had.

I understand that, but it doesn't change the fact that NO simply doesn't think as highly of Rondo as others do.

I think the correct verb tense is "didn't."

They liked Gordon on a rookie contract, a pick they expected to be in the top 3 or so  in a great draft and other assets better than Rondo. They'd be crazy to turn down the deal and we'd be worse to consider it.

Plus as most posters have said, we don't think the C's should do the deal either. Regardless of whether or not NOH would reconsider acquiring Rondo.

They also thought Kev. Martin, Scola, and Odom was a better package than Rondo and Green. Some GM's probably have a different opinion, but obviously Demps doesn't think that much of Rondo.
