Free Agents worth considering

These may not be the biggest names but I think each of these guys are worth considering.  Price and length of contract will be important.

Marcus Camby
Mo Williams
Marreese Seights
Anthony Randolph (restricted)
Sam Young (restricted)
Jonny Flynn
Jason Thompson (restricted)


I really like Flynn, White, Randolph and Thompson.  I think they can come at a reasonable price and can help us.   

Obviously what happens with KG, Ray and Bass will impact what the celts will have available for money.

I'd like to see us make a run at Danny Green.  If we can get him cheaply enough, could be like an upgraded Marquis-type guy.

People are so afraid to even mention that name around here.  Personally, I'd be overjoyed to put the Green back in Gerald.

I will say Green looked different for the Nets this year.. looks like he may have turned the corner in his career and maybe be that 6th man of a bench that someone needs. Who knows but I would welcome him back to run with Rondo.

Randy Foye is a good journeyman backup combo guard who can shoot and penetrate, and usually comes reasonably cheap.

Al Thornton might be a good value pickup at PF as well.

These guys are the veteran journeymen teams look at when they're rebuilding...but could perhaps be complementary players who fill roles perfectly if we keep the band together as well.

Another player a lot of people are not talking about the celtics going after and should be is Jason Terry. Dallas is all in on the derron williams deal and will not come after Terry. He averaged 15 points and 4 assists last year and is a terrific shooter with loads of playoff experience. Not to mention he would fit in wonderfully with this locker room.

He does not have an injury history and would probably come to Boston for a reasonable price. If we reload for another run this would be the first guard I'd go after this summer..
