A must-read, not only for Bahku, but for all of us.

TP for this, IP ... I'd read about his incredible strength and the fights, but this is a great read.

I was a bit worried at the selection of draft order when this started, (especially toward the closing rounds), that there might be slim pickings in those waning categories by the time things got around to me, but as this thing is all about fun, (and "fun" clearly should have no boundaries or constraints), it just plain didn't matter. Ultimately the talent pool for such a draft is almost infinite, and with the variety of categories and judging choices added, any advantages in draft order are next to nil, if not non-existent. This became clearer and clearer as the rounds ticked down, as I only had to use one second choice due to someone taking my first, and one alternate due to my first pick being non-conformist.

All the rest were my first choices, and I can tell from the lack of "Oh, man, I hate you!"-type replies, that most GM's were in the same boat. That said, there was one choice that seemed to make perfect sense when I made it, that upon further reflection just plain fizzled out, and I regretted making it almost as soon as I posted the pick. Just because something seems to "fit" on the surface, doesn't always mean it's the best choice, (or the strongest element for your team), and my mascot pick was just that, and frankly lacked imagination and novelty, and really added nothing to my team.

Hence, and thanks to Redz for the "Mulligan Clause", (no inference to his Wild Card pick intended), my replacement pick and our team's Emissary of Originality, was at once eminently clear and almost pre-ordained. The embodiment of our willingness to put team ahead of ego and sacrifice ourselves for the good of the group, (as he is the representative of, in simplicity, two solids combining to make a liquid), for it's final pick in the 2012 CB Ultimate Draft, the Portland Paradigm, (formerly Team Bahku), selects an amazingly unusual and ingenious character of uncompromising whit, personality and good-humor, our re-pick in the Mascot category, the very unique and talented representative of the St. Louis College of Pharmacy ...

 ... Mortimer McPestle, the Eutectic.

Morty ... mixin' it up, and bringin' it home.

The first category up for voting is going to be "Smartest", so plug in your brains and start coming up with your best argument as to why your team is wicked smaht.

Deadline is midnight tomorrow, then I'll post a poll.
