Drummond impressed me more than anyone that size and height with that vertical jump.   He will be a top five pick but man does he sound like a beast.

He does. Rondo could make him look real good, too.

My concern is that he weighed in at over 270 lbs right? Id be concerned that weight could put him at risk to become Oden. Even Howard playing around that weight has probably helped to mess up his back. So that thought is a little frightening.

My concern is he apparently compared himself to Kevin Durant in interviews...

I like his potential a lot but I hope he has a good head on his shoulders.

No, he didn't.  He only offered Durant's name as a current player he admires.  The kid has been said to have maturity and commitment issues, but I thought he did fine in that interview.

Just think of what Bryan Doo did with Perk who came in overweight and out of shape at Drummond's age.

Miller's agility time, at 11.05, was also pretty good for a guy coming off ACL surgery.  I like DraftExpress's best case scenario for him: a poor man's Kevin Durant.

I also got excited about him when I saw the vertical and agility numbers then I noticed he had the sixth worst sprint time  :P. Still considering Will Barton was in the top 3(slower than O'quinn, yeah right) i'm willing to let that go. The numbers suggest that Miller is atleast an above average athlete for the most part and with his size, skill, and range that's extremely difficult to pass on.

Oh yeah, didn't see that.  :-[

Just wondering why a person that tall and can jump over buildings only averaged 6 rebounds per game his last year in VAN.

It's most likely because Ezeli is new to basketball. He also only played 22 minutes per game.

The limited minutes are part of it. The other is positioning. Vandy basically banked hard on him roving out to block shots as a help defender, putting him out of position for missed shots (many of which he affected) and moving him away from the rim on drives. This was a tough tradeoff for Vandy - they had another high level rebounder in Lance Goulbourne, but they still often ceded far too many o-rebounds and second chances to opponents.

For what it's worth, Ezeli is a solid rebounder, particularly on the offensive end. His numbers won't jump off the page at you, but he can fill whatever role you need on the glass thanks to his size and strength.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Austin Rivers sure that Lotto Promise will last anymore?

Jeez that is pathetic. 1 rep?

Remember this. :)

Did the NBA slap "Buyer Beware" stickers on Kevin Durant and other draft prospects when it distributed results from last week's predraft camp to teams Monday?

The Seattle Times gained a complete copy of the confidential report, and the Texas forward was one of several players projected in the lottery who had less-than-impressive workouts.

Durant, who will likely be chosen No. 2 in the June 28 draft by the Sonics, was the only player who could not bench press 185 pounds at least once. His overall performance ranked 78th out of 80 prospects, and his lackluster workout appears to have widened the gap between him and Ohio State center Greg Oden, who had an impressive combine.

Durant measured 6 feet 9 without shoes and 6-10 ¼ with shoes. He weighed 215 pounds and had a 7-4 ¾ wingspan, second widest among prospects and a half-inch wider than Oden's. Durant, however, fell short in nearly every other statistical category to the 7-foot center, who is expected to be chosen No. 1 by Portland.

Oden had a better vertical jump (34 inches to 33 ½) and he ran faster in an agility drill (11.67 seconds to 12.33) and a three-quarter-court sprint (3.27 seconds to 3.45).

The Sonics, however, are not dissuaded by Durant's workout. According to one front-office official, center Robert Swift also struggled with the bench-press test before the draft, and three years later he's the strongest player on the team.

Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

I don't think Drummond is necessarily out of shape, just extremely bulky. Very few people have had luck playing at that weight for long periods of time. Shaq is as close as it gets probably and I'm not even sure that dude is human.

Bynum and Oden playing at that weight probably helped contribute to the set backs in their careers.

Potentially worrisome, but still not a deal breaker (at least for me) on being willing to try and trade for him.

Oh, I agree.  He's just a big kid IMO.

I don't think anyone was claiming he was out of shape. My point was that he's just heavy and if it's disporportioned with more upper body mass, that may not be the best thing for him in terms of his ability to avoid major injuries.

He's never had one before, that I know of but if I was a GM I'd feel better if he was around 250.

Drummond seems to be a bit of a freakish player, physically.  Draft Express points out that his body fat % is significantly lower than other players with similar length/weight.  It could be that he could only get down to around 250 by giving up some muscle mass and strength.
