I'm rooting for LeBron here definitely.  It's his time.  Durant and those Oklahoma fans can wait a few more years.

As a basketball fan, I'm actually pretty excited about this series.  LeBron vs. Durant.  Pretty awesome matchup.  I think we're going to be seeing the first of many Heat/Thunder Finals and the start of a great rivalry.  It could last a decade.  Welcome to the new era of the NBA... I hope you enjoyed Boston's 5 year blip of relevance.

NO!!!

Though I'm just beginning to accept our Game 7 defeat, I will never cheer for Lebron and the Heat.. Even if they dominate the ECF for years, I want them to lose "Not one... not five, not six, not seven..." times in the Finals, no matter who they face out of the West, not even the Lakers..

The only thing that bothers me with OKC winnng this year is that Fisher will get his sixth! >:(

I honestly don't care at this point. In fact I might be ornery and just hang out in front of the sports bar and just have my back to the bar with my Celtics jacket and smoke a cigar. Can't root for OK in Seattle and I can't root for the Heat either.

Fisher vs. LeBron. I'd give Fisher the ring. The Lakers sold him out and it'd be fun if he has more rings than Kobe.

I don't care about Lebron, I don't hate him, but I hate the notion of him winning a Championship is bigger than anything.

I'm a Celtics fan, then a basketball fan, and after that I used to be an NBA fan, but Stern/ESPN/Refs combination has ruined it for me. I hated the Jordan Rules, the Faker/Zen "dinasty", and the individuals over the teams.

So I don't want him to win with his "big 3" of South Beach. I want them to fail, they don't have any respect for the game of basketball, pretending they deserve anything. They don't deserve anything, they've been favored by the refs and they barely beat our banged, injured, depleted and old TEAM.

LeBron will get his ring, for sure, he's that good and even with the star treatment he gets, you can see he tries to improve and play on both sides of the ball.
In fact, he could've been a lot better if he wasn't allowed to bulldoze his opponents, or crab dribbling, or fouling without getting called. I'm sure that by having to adjust and overcome those things, he'd be even scarier.

He has an opt out clause, I think in 2014. If would be fine for him to never win it all in Miami, and then opt out and go back to Cleveland... and lead his team to the Championship.

If they don't win it all, Miami will probably trade Bosh (big mistake as we've seen) because I don't think they trade Karate Wade. The smart move would be trading the Hamster, but he's "a top 5 player".

If they win the ring, the Miami love fest will be as disgusting as the Faker ones, and we'll be hearing about "the biggest thing in sports history" until the 2013 All Star or even further.

Go Perk, Go Iblocka, Go OKC.

Fisher can then tell Kobe how his a** taste

Thankfully we can all go ahead and hope anything we want, but I personally hope I don't see Lebron's face for at least another four-or-five months, (when it becomes unavoidable), and while I have no intention of watching the NBA Finals, I also personally hope that Durant, Perk and the Thunder, kick the Miami Cheats' proverbial hineys, and do so in four games, no more.

I'm routing for him. He's earned it. Plus when Boston beats him in the Playoffs next time I want it to read "Celtics knock out Champion Lebron James". Not "Lebron chokes against Celtics".

Plus I'm not routing for the Thunder to win a championship, that ownership robbed Seattle of their team... that's disgusting and unforgivable to me.

I dont dislike Lebron as a player, as a basketball fan you cant not like the guy that is that dominate. Yes its frustrating to watch becuase he has pretty much road blocked us two years in a row now. The reason I dislike him is just the way he goes about it on the court. He whinges and complains on calls that no other player bar maybe kobe/melo/wade and the so called "superstar" players will get. I just wish he would take what comes his way. Sure he has the right to voice his opinion when he feels he should of got a foul, but not when someone whispers a swear in his ear.

That being said, The series is gonna be awesome to watch. Going to be faced paced, and lets face it.... it will be exciting to watch. Who ever wins this year is going to earn their ring.

Bring back 90's biff ball with the knicks bulls Pacers all those teams. Best series to watch by far.

The Celts are better off if the Heat get beaten, it will increase the likelihood that they'll split up Wade/James/Bosh.

That might make them better though, like say they get Dwight for Wade.

NEVER!

I don't understand where this "he earned it" line of bs is coming from. What has lebron actually earned? He left a sinking ship to form a perceived super team because he was too impatient to wait for it to come to him.

Guys like Dirk, Kidd, Pierce and KG are guys who earned their rings. They battled for the better part of their careers to get to the championship and didn't take a shortcut.

Lebron embodies everything that is opposite the culture of the celtics org.
Back to wanting Joe fired.
