  • It's all about the TEAM!
Look, I hate the guy not so much for the player he is his but more so for what he did, how he acted, the comments he made and so on. That being said, I found him a little bit more tolerable this year than last year. He seems a bit more humble. And I do think Wade is just becoming the Alpha Jerk. And the one I'd like to see players fall on when they go down.

I'd love to see Lebron NEVER win a title.
Part of me thinks it will serve him right for saying "Not 3, Not 4, Not 5, Not 6, Not 7".....Since then, I've always hoped Not 1. But let's be honest. The Heat are a force and will be for some time to come. I almost feel like if they don't win it, they'll keep coming back even hungrier the following year and even better retooled. Sometimes when players and teams make it to the top, they tend to be less focused and hungry the following year(s).

Since the Celtics just got eliminated and no longer are a part of this years equation, they can't hurt us anymore than they already have this year. Would we be better off to just go ahead and wish the Heat and Lebron finally get that Ring???

I know its as foreign to us and awful as cheering for the Lakers. But if OKC wins it, I think it's just gonna make it harder for us next year and so on. The Heat are gonna just keep coming.

I'm starting to get the mentality of "Just get it over with" and lets let Lebron get his Ring.

OKC just got the Finals for the 1st time. I'm pretty confident, if they don't win it, they'll be back. But unlike the Heat, they might be in awe of the moment. The Heat won't be.

Will the love fest from the NBA, ESPN and everywhere else die down if Lebron FINALLY wins his ring? Part of me just wants to let it happen since they can't hurt the Celtics any more THIS YEAR.

Thoughts???

Nope.

I'm hoping and expecting that OKC lays the wood on MIA.

NOPE hope he never gets one and if everyone think the heat are going to get through every year there is another younger better TEAM the the Heat and that the Thunder. Thunder will be there for years to come as well. So we will see but I hope Lebron never gets a ring.

With Wade on the decline there's a real possibility the Heat won't be a domainate team for several years, it may just be another few years at most.  I thought the Heat missed a great opportunity last year, and this year they aren't the best team (especially with a banged up Wade).  James may eventually get a ring, but I don't know why people think it's inevitable.  He's gotta earn; it's not going to come to him.

To be honest, I hope he does. He seems to have matured as a player and an individual. I know every thinks The Decision was stupid and immature. But so does LeBron. He agrees woth you. He admitted it. He regrets it. It was 2 years ago, it's time to get over it. He played MVP caliber basketball, was an obvious leader on the team. Showed up with CLUTCH performances in their 2 elimination games, and is still being told he isn't good enough. And as for being the next MJ, I never heard the press conference where he said it.

Outside of the Celtics, LeBron is the #1 guy I'd like to see win a ring.

It used to be Dirk and Kidd but they won one last year. LeBron is top of my list now.

The Celts are better off if the Heat get beaten, it will increase the likelihood that they'll split up Wade/James/Bosh.

yah I'd like to see him get a ring......just not with the heat. not with wade, not in miami, not with the %$^$^%^ heat.  i hope the heat blow it and get blown out in the finals every year until they decide to break them up. after that lebron can go on to win as many titles as he'd like like for any team he'd like( except the lakers ;) ) any the heat can become the cubs of the basketball world. never winning another championship for a century or more. forever cursed for their undeserved arrogance and pride.
(it's fun to dream)

How good would it be for Mr. "not five, not six, not seven" to lose his third Finals to Kevin Durant at his first time of asking?

Oh, and there's Perk, also.

I never want James to win a thing.

I don't hate Lebron, and I really don't get people that do.

That said, I'd be ok with Lebron winning a ring ANYWHERE but Miami. The way that team was assembled and all of the circumstances surrounding it are just the worst.

On top of that, they have the absolute worst fans who are totally undeserving of it. So no, I'm rooting for the Thunder all the way.
