I tend to disagree with the original poster. I don't think Miami has been that dominant in the playoffs this year. Yes, they were better than us, yes they won the east. But they were far from dominant doing it. We obviously had our chances and pushed them to 7. The pacers pushed them to 6. I just don't see them as this completely unbeatable dominating team that a lot do.
I think OKC, if they can somehow spread the cash around and keep their main 4 guys will be a lot bigger threat to be a true dynasty. Their team is younger / more athletic and I feel has a higher ceiling. I mean if KD and RW can get better they will be scarey. I think the heat is basically at their ceiling right now. Game 6 and game 7 in the 4th quarter is about as good as they can be as far as I am concerned. I don't think the East is set in stone for 4-5 years. Bulls w Rose and Noah, sixers, pacers, retooled Celtics could all push the Heat just as hard next year.
I think the heat might win this year, but I think next year is going to be more difficult for them.
