Tricity Blackhawks  (we are going historical name)

PG  Williams
SG  Ray Allen
SF  Deng
PF  Love
C   Howard

Bench

PG Brandon
SG Petrovic
SF Glen Robinson
PF/C Clifford Robinson (big headband one)
PF/C Aldridge

I just worry that this team isn't big enough up front to go deep into the historical playoffs.

SF: Pippen
PF: Elton Brand
C: Jermaine O'Neal

6: Josh Smith
7: Big Z

Love the perimeter play, don't see the fit of all four frontcourt players.

Celtics

C: Marc Gasol/ Andrew Bogut
PF: Dirk Nowitzki/ Juwan Howard
SF: Reggie Lewis/ James Posey
SG: Vince Carter/ Jamal Mashburn
PG: Chris Paul

Really well put together team, with great supporting pieces so far. I like it a ton, and should be good to great on both ends of the floor.

Vince Carter doesn't have the heart to be the man this team needs him to be.

I agree with the assessment that you need a SF, but I love the intensity and competitiveness of this team.

Memphis Grizzlies

PG- Kevin Johnson/Mookie Blaylock
SG- Jeff Hornacek/Steve Kerr
SF- Bruce Bowen/Xavier McDaniel
PF- Pau Gasol/Al Horford
C-  David Robinson

I think I have a nice combination of shooting, rebounding, passing, and defense.  I was really going for chemistry/fit and I think these guys would work pretty well together.

A team literally no one wants to play in the playoffs because there will be no confusion over roles.

NY Knicks

C: Tim Duncan
PF: Ben Wallace
SF: Ron Artest/Detlef Schrempf
SG: Brandon Roy/ Rip Hamilton
PG: Tony Parker/Steph Curry

Got 3 picks tomorrow to round out my rotation.  Really liking the way my team is shaping up.  I knew from the begining that I wanted Artest because his DPOY season was truly exceptional, but in order to make him work I needed the rest of the team to be likeable and have strong leadership and I think I have accomplished that.

Again, I think you move Rip to the starting lineup to truly capitalize on your team's half court offense. That allows Roy to be a super 6th man, and let him be the slightly ball dominant player he likes to be. That starting lineup would be a real sight to watch.

Still, not a fan of the Big Ben pick though but I still think you have an opportunity to recover. Selecting Tim Duncan can do that.

A great frontcourt, but I worry that this team is lacking in athleticism to compete in this league.

I've always thought Vince had exactly the right heart to be a third option.

Not quite sure of the years yet, but these are probably my first choices.

Indiana Pacers

PG: Rajon Rondo (09/10 - 13.7 ppg, 9.8 apg, 2.3 spg, 51% fg) All-star, all defensive 1st team

SG: Reggie Miller (89/90- 24.6 ppg, 52% fg, 41% 3's) All-star

SF: Gerald Wallace (09/10- 18.2 ppg, 10 rpg, 48% fg, 37% 3's) All-star, all defensive 1st team

PF: LeBron James (11/12- 27.1 ppg, 7.9 rpg, 6.2 apg, 53% fg, 36% 3's.)
All-star, all NBA 1st team, all defensive 1st team, MVP

C: Tyson Chandler (11/12- 11.3 ppg, 9.9 rpg, 68% fg (WHAT!?!))
Defensive Player of the Year, all defensive 2nd team (also, WHAT!?!)

Bench:

Rashard Lewis (08/09- 17.7 ppg, 40% 3's) All-Star
Raja Bell (05/06- 14.7 ppg, 41% 3's) All-defensive 1st team
Jason Terry (06/07- 16.7 ppg, 5.2 apg, 48% fg, 44% 3's)
Al Jefferson (07/08- 21.0 ppg, 11.1rpg, 50% fg)

The offense can be run through Rajon Rondo, and LeBron James can control the ball when he sits. My starting line-up with the exception of Reggie are all unbelievable defensive players, and at the end of games I can put in Raja Bell for defensive purposes. Off the bench, I have some much needed shooting/scoring with three guys that shoot it over 40% and can play multiple positions. Al Jeff is a great big man that can provide some much needed post scoring. I think I'm pretty well-rounded. I don't think a true back-up point is necessary when LeBron can run the offense. The only thing I probably need right now is another defensive big man, but other than that I like how these pieces fit together.

I think this team is sneakily very good. The defensive speed on this team is outright incredible, and probably a little overlooked.

I'm not so sure about the bench, I think you should've embraced the team speed and tweeked it a little. For example, Al Jefferson is a terrific player, but how could he possibly be utilized on this particular team?

What year Finley are you taking?  In his best statistical years, he never cared much for playing defense.  I worry about pairing a guy like that with Nash in the back court.  When the two players were in fact paired in Dallas, the Mavs routinely were near the bottom of the league in defensive efficiency.

Of course, they didn't have a front line that included Pippen, Brand, O'neal, and Smith, either.  Those bigs are going to cause a lot of teams grief in this exercise.

I'd work on finding some defensive guards at this point.

Well I just picked up Shane Battier, howyalikemenow?

Something like that.

Well, Al Jeff will probably be used against bigger teams, where LeBron won't be able to play the four. I know he's not a good defender, but Al Jeff is really my only true post scorer. While he doesn't really fit the mold like everyone else, I think he's a necessary guy to have as he provided me with the attribute this team lacked most.

I really like this team a lot. Paul & Nowitzki is going to be a nightmare to handle, and I think given his role Marc will be terrific for you. As I mentioned before, I think a real benefit of Carter is that he could've been a terrific slasher - UNC basically had him patrolling baseline to baseline looking for dump downs.

Reggie Lewis is terrific, but I'd like to see you get a more pure shooter at the 3 spot. James Posey in his prime actually would be a pretty OK fit, but I don't remember if his numbers were ever that great.

Defensively, I think your bigs could struggle a little. Both with size and speed.

He gives you post scoring, but he makes some of your best players offensively obsolete.
