I was reading the Miami board on Realgm and some fans were saying that the reason they are losing is because the games are fixed.  Are you kidding me!  Heat fans talking about fixed games? ::)

Phantom technical on Chalmers in a key spot.  Calls that that they are accustomed to having go their way not being called.

It's all a matter of perspective.

wade charging on PP getting 2 ft's at the end, so basically Miami picks up a point in that exchange

Don't think it was fixed but that tech on Chalmers in that moment was AWFUL.

Right, but that wouldn't be acknowledged from a Heat fan's perspective.

The last thing the NBA wants is Lebron and Wade in finals.

Those two will never bring ratings.

We got two big breaks in the fourth quarter so its only natural.

1. Chalmers technical

2. Pierce appeared to carry the ball on a drive to the hoop in an awkward way that often will get called. (I didn't watch the replay though)

We see the exact same chatter here after the C's lose in similar circumstances.

Game 5 may have been the mostly fairly called game of the series - even though the refs botched a couple small calls for each side.

Whatever, Miami.

Boston Celtic fans have no credibility criticizing another fan base for conspiracy theories. We all need to shut our pie hole on this one.

That tech was legit.

How about Haslem when he got his hand on that inbounds play, he was all over KG grabbing his shoulder but sometimes those aren't called thank god for that whistle because that could have cost us the game

I agree. I think the only time players should be called a technical is if they get in the refs face or curses them out

Yeah, that pass scared me because they don't always call that foul in games. (like when Wade did something similar to Pierce in game 4)

Fortunately in intentional foul situations the officials have a pretty quick whistle and they got that one right as he was holding him and then climbed his back to get his right hand on the ball.

Yeah you can't spike the basketball like that in frustration.

I actually understood the Chalmers tech too. He boxed out with his arms on Pietrus and Pietrus went down away from the ball, looked to the entire world that he just stiff armed him down live.

No, but they do want an extended series.

I've been saying throughout this series... games 1 and 2 were clearly called in favor of Miami.  Game 3 was clearly called in favor of boston.  Game 4 was pretty evenly called (if anyone was to lean any way, you'd have to say Boston though).  And Game 5 started out being called noticeably even, and I oddly yet seriously mean the word noticeably, until the officiating started to go Boston's way.

I haven't been able to watch SA/OKC games, but i think its weird that the games have been called like this in the ECF and that the pattern of home-away teams winning games is the exact same in both conferences right now.  If both away teams win game 6, I think this will look very fishy.  Can anybody comment on the officiating in the WCF?
