Boston Celtic fans have no credibility criticizing another fan base for conspiracy theories. We all need to shut our pie hole on this one.

Don't think it was fixed but that tech on Chalmers in that moment was AWFUL.

So was the foul and T on Bass

That tech was legit.

Wade did the same thing when he slammed the ball down afte he fouled pierce on a play and wasn't called for a tech

Was the ball 15 feet in the air at halfcourt?

Its not the same thing.

It was probably 9 feet in the air.

Didn't see it. I didn't see anything a Heat player did with a ball that looked like the display Bass put on.

And that tech wasn't that big a deal, but it was a clear as day tech.

Wade was p---ed and smacked the ball off the court and into the crowd.  I remember thinking at the time that it would be a tech for any other player.

Tech on Bass was correct, but Wade should have been called as well.

I remember that play, that was Pierce's and-1, right?

Yeah you could definitely argue he deserved a tech for that.

Whether he deserves one or not, I'd just like to see the same calls both ways.

I think you did, for the most part. They're gonna miss plays, and techs are hard to call in and of themselves.

So none of the refs saw that?

Not a single one. Or, maybe they felt like it was less disruptive of the game, and less meriting of a tech as brandon bass, or maybe there is a concerted conspiracy to make sure Dwyane Wade doesn't get a tech which would not throw him out of the game and would only be a free-throw.

Yeah, those Heat players are racking up techs by the boatload.

And this is how silly the people on this board seemed after the first two games.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Game 2 reaction was not at all silly. Some of us just don't turn a blind eye to what is in front of them. Stats don't lie. Look at the FTA in game 2 and then the rest of the games. Clear as day to me something was fishy in game 2. The only silly thing to do is ignore it and let it continue.

Not saying the 6 techs in game 1 affected the outcome but it was ridiculous.

fine it funny that people on this forum actually think they can compare a couple calls going our way last night (which plenty didn't go our way) to the first 2 games.

Guys did you watch the first 2 games? Again, laughable when people try and defend it still. When the calls go against us it's either us being undisciplined or it's the refs just missing a call. Then you point to pretty much 1 play in game 5 where Chalmers gets called for a tech and point and say "SEE!! calls go our way too".

Keep on keepin on!

Just let me know when Pierce gets 25 free throws in a game. Obviously my first reaction will be that he was CLEARLY being more aggressive than Lebron. Or let me know when a team gets 5 tech's by the second quarter of a game.

Game 2. Stolen.

Series is over if it's officiated properly. Comparing the last three games to that OT period is absurd.

Rondo was right. Miami people cry and cry.

To be honest, I thought we got some home calls on Game 3 (which was kind of expected from the atrocious misses from the first 2 games and I could see Stern wanting some more games for the series since the Heat were looking like they could sweep us). On Game 4 we did get some calls our way, but there were some blatant calls their way too. I think it was just mistakes on both sides. Game 5 was by the far the fairest officiated game of the season. They allowed them play for the most part and the missed calls looked like they were legitimate mistakes on the refs part and not straight up blown calls.

Now, one example of a miss by the ref was a layup that Lebron went for where he used one of his arms to block Garnet's arms from blocking his shot (if somebody can find that video). It was just a good defense but as Lebron went up, he nodged Garnet's arm just enough that he couldn't reach for the block. Later in the 4th, Lebron makes a very similar move but doesn't use his arm and what happens? Garnet blocks a shot and we score on transition.

I'm still waiting for the ft off of that made 3 by PP, Brinda fouled him clear as day! Just because PP made the basket doesn't mean he wasn't fouled.

The Bass tech was deserved but are you kidding me when some of you say it was "how" Bass did it as oppose to the timeS Wadena and Brinda did it? So, that's what the rules say? Well I'm glad you cleared that up for me... hopefully Bass sees this and he will spike it into the crowd or stanchion next time to avoid the T. *sarcasm off*
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Exactly. (TP)

And why, in the name of heaven, would the NBA want the Celtics to win?!?

Makes very little sense ... they stand to make much more money by Miami winning game five and the series.
