Take it to him early and often. Even though it's out of character for us, his man should crash the boards and force him to fight and extend for every defensive rebound. Stretch out those abs.

If we can make Bosh a non-factor and scrape out another win, the media circus will cause the Heat to implode going into game 6...whose to blame: LBJ, Wade or Bosh?

Throughout their careers KG has owned Bosh when Bosh is 100% healthy.

I don't see how Chris Bosh at 75% or whatever is going to make that much of a difference.

I maybe be totally wrong.  But I think Bosh returns , gives the Advantage to Celtics. First ...he will be rusty , second he'll be thinking about his injury and messing it up again.

LAStly , the HEAT have learned we can score everytime down court , JUST let Wade and LBJ take everyshot.

So now they are in this WADE and LBJ "MODE" of play ballhog two man basketball team.  Will the cHeat be able to GO BACK to their former three man team play?  It is so much easier just to run plays to the same two guys everytime down court .

BOSH insertion into  the lineup... might screwup the offensive sets once again and get the Heat out of sorts long enough for the C's to step in and win the game /series.

its hard for the HEAT to play 5 man team basketball offensive sets, its not what they do, by Bosh getting injuried played right into what Spobot wants to have happen everytime down court ...WADE or Lebrick take every shot possible .

If Bosh comes in plays cold or isn't shooting good .... he'll hurt the offensive % and advantage to the Celtics.

I'm hoping Bosh plays ...becasue at this point , I believe it might hurt the rythum of LeBrick and take the ball away from him and wade so they can't get it going .

The last 3 years, it has been far from an owning.  They are actually pretty even.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

I think you're right statistically.

That's the key.  KG is a MUCH better defender.  Worlds better.

But yes, I think the KG owning Bosh thing isn't that true anymore, especially since last year.  I think 3 years might be too long but I think last year he started playing well against him.

Also statistically, KG has been the better player in the majority of games he played against Bosh in the last 3 years:

It's hard to fathom that Bosh is in any kind of game shape.

Is there any way KG can test Bosh's resolve with a well-placed elbow to the gut without picking up a T?

we'll have to see...but Bosh has never been known to be a physical "banger" around the rim..if I'm the celtics I would go right at him with KG...abdominal strains are no joke.

going through light workouts are one thing...but to then go to a playoff atmosphere with KG posting up on you thats totally different

Its fine if he comes back. If we win I'd rather them be at full strenght and us not so much so we don't hear about them being short handed(with two of the best players in the league) the reason why they lost.

Plus it might get rid of that small line up that has been killing us. Spoelstra might forget about that line up and not go back to it, he's not the dumbest coach, but he tends not to use the strengths of the team well.

I think that hurts miami at this point honestly.

Nice.  I'm kind of looking forward to seeing Rondo make that giraffe neck starting spinning around in circles.

Woah Woah thats so mean he is not a giraffe. He's an ostrich

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
A lot of folks were saying Al Horford couldn't help the Hawks after such a long layoff, though, and look at how that worked out.

While he's a better player, I don't think Bosh poses the same problems for Boston that Horford did.  Bosh isn't a physical banger and I doubt he's going to be any more productive than Haslem was in game 4.

Don't get me wrong, Miami is improved by getting Bosh back but not to the point where I think it decides the series.

Mike
Any minutes he takes from Anthony/Haslem/Turiaf is an improvement. Though if he's "off" then who knows, C's can still beat them with Bosh. Especially in a 3 game series.

I agree with Mike that Horford is a more difficult matchup for KG than Bosh because of his physical nature. Horford has excellent lower body strength which can really throw off KG's inside game.

And while I think Haslem is a gritty veteran player who can give the Celtics problems, I do agree that Bosh is clearly the Heat's best big guy, and if he is on with his offensive game, then it really opens up the floodgates for everybody else.

It means one more year of them whining without thinking that they need to change anything to get over the hump.  Why wouldn't you want to see that?
