I would have to say it depends on who is there. If a player like Beal or Kidd-Gilchrist was there I would probably do it . I might do it for Austin Rivers too ,but after Anthony Davis , those are probably the only 3 I would trade Bradley and a pick for .

and another question what if it was Bradley and 2 1st round picks to move into the top 8?

Thats probably to much for me to give up. Bradley is such a weapon I wouldn't want to give up all that

If its for a top 6 pick, i would make that trade everyday:

1 )  New Orleans - Anthony Davis
2 )  Charlotte - Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
3 )  Washington - Bradley Beal
4 )  Cleveland - Harrison Barnes
5 )  Sacramento - Thomas Robinson
6 )  Portland - Andre Drummond

After that the field starts leveling off rapidly until around pick 23/24.

I think i would keep Bradley and the pick beyond that. I really like some of the names available in the late teens, early 20s.

Depends on who it is, Bradley can affect a game there is no guarentee a rookie will.

I would rather have Drummond than Barnes though.

I am really uncomfortable trading Bradley for anything other than a proven star or a can't miss prospect. I'm still not really sure what to make of Bradley but he has shown enough to make me very reluctant to move him for anything less than a sure thing.

Bradley plus a first round for late top ten pick seems too much. I think Bradley by himself should be the equivalent of one of those #8-#12 picks. For a top 7 pick, it seems reasonable (value-wise). For Bradley plus two first rounders, well I don't see anyone in the top five taking that deal so nevermind that.

I'm not afraid of trading Bradley in the right deal.  Not every player who shows signs of being capable ends up a superstar.  More likely he ends up another Tony Allen or Delonte West type... expendable role players.  His size will always be a problem.

I'd love Thomas Robinson but that doesn't seem realistic with our assets.

I don't know nearly enough about the available talent, but since we already have a young star PG, and since 2-guards are easier to find than bigs, I would say yes if there is someone DA sees as an impact big available.

I just wanna say... I know Bradley was great in April.  Dude shot like 50% for a nice little stretch and was displaying great defense.  In the playoffs he was back down to 36% and like 20% from three in part (probably) because of his injury.   I don't think you're going to find a single team in this league that values Bradley as much as Boston does.  Doesn't make sense to trade him when he's still essentially an unknown without any trade value.  Straight-up, do you think we could even get a drat pick in the 15-20 range for him?

Yeah Bradley's value is probably unknown/not high around the NBA. If he is who we (or some of we) think he is, and who Danny thinks he is, then he is best served remaining on the Celtics and having his value potentially rise.

I think it's perception, personal opinion. I'm kind of with "Celtics4ever" and "who" on this one.

I think Bradley has proven himself to be a top 3 on ball defender in this league. The guy is just outstanding on D. In addition, I think his percentages went way down in the playoffs because his shoulder was popping out every other quarter.

Intangibles - I just think Bradley is money. He has a nose for the ball on D and a nose for the rim on offense. He's also an inspirational player - he gets guys on his team juiced - that is a very valuable commodity to me if I'm a GM, those guys are rare. he is small for a 2, but as you're 3rd guard, a combo guy, very valuable to me.

I also, IMHO, think he's just starting to sniff his offensive game. His ball handling got a lot better this year and as that continues to improve he has the athletic ability to do whatever he wants on the court.

For me, therefore, I'd only consider trading Bradley straight for a lottery pick anywhere from 5-10 and only if I knew I could land a big man that I thought was a really sure thing.

But there's the rub, all these guys with lottery picks, after the true blue chippers, you have no idea how the kids are going to pan out until the rubber hits the road. Harrison Barnes could turn into a poor man's Danny Granger.

And to be honest with you, I think Bradley has more value than Granger. Granger does nothing at an elite level. Bradley has established game changing talent with his defense.

I'd only throw in an "one" extra pick if it was a top five pick. Otherwise, I'll just keep my two firsts where I think I can get great value anyway (Jeff Taylor, Doron Lamb, John Jenkins, Ezeli or "maybe" Fab Melo, or just try to package my two first round picks to move up to 15 and try to nab Meyers Leonard...

Bradley is also the type of player, character wise, that you can put into your core building blocks, as guys you want to build around from a talent, character and effort perspective. He's not "the answer" but he's a real nice part of the puzzle.
