Any updates? I keep looking but can not find anything. I know the Celtics are close to the vest about workouts but dang, throw us a bone.

My guess is that right now Danny has cast a large net with the guys he has workout out to this point. He is now probably trying to get a read on other teams and possible trade situations.

I bet we see more workout activity a week before the draft.

Doron Lamb
John Jenkins

Interesting matchup. I really like Doron Lamb. The kid can shoot and is a competitor. A guy that scores 22 in the championship game has to be clutch. Jenkins' just a shooter, I'm hoping Lamb's something more.
Nicholson/Q.Miller + D. Lamb would be a good first round for us.
CFAN 38, what do you think?

I'd like to have somebody besides Bradley who can guard Wade.

Shooting specialists like Lamb and Jenkins should be available at 51, they just might not be quite as good.

I would be surprised if either of them are available at 51.  They are both bubble first rounders.

Lamb won't be there at 31 let alone 51.   Do you mean Darius Miller perhaps?

I believe OP pointed out that the shooters there at 51 "might not be quite as good' as Lamb and Jenkins'.

Correct, guys like Marcus Denmon, Kim English, Kris Joseph, William Buford, Kris Middleton.

One or more of those guys will be there at 51. Not quite as good as DLamb or Jenkins, but not too far off either.

We still need somebody else besides Bradley to guard Wade, and the other star two guards in the league.

Neither Lamb, Jenkins, nor any of the names I listed above are a solution to that dilemma.

That's why I still have a soft spot for Tony Wroten. He can be a beast defensively against PGs, SGs, and some SFs, not to mention get other teams in foul trouble REAL quick.

A lot of the things Westbrook was doing against Miami 2 days ago are the same things Wroten can do. Wroten might not be quite the high flyer, but they both flat out score attacking the basket, regardless of how much teams play off of them.

Jenkins and Lamb (Doron) are top 5 pure shooters in this draft.  Jenkins, I think is the best shooter by far.  I really hope we pick him up in the first round.

..........and his name is Jeffrey Taylor.

From nbadraft.net:

"Has high-level potential on the defensive end, and his defense could be where his most value as a prospect lies … Is versatile on this end, and defended everything except C when at Vandy…Is very fundamentally sound and moves his feet very well … Has the size to defend SG’s and a lot of the bigger SF’s in time … Was arguably the best defending wing in the SEC last season, even though Kentucky’s Michael Kidd-Gilchrist got most of the pub … Always contests shots … Is great at knowing when to gamble for passing lane steals and when to just play solid defense against his man … Solid passer, who is unselfish and plays within the scheme …"

http://nbadraft.net/players/jeffery-taylor

Can hit the three ball, too. Sounds like a Celtic to me.
