I'm incredibly excited about the Jeffrey Taylor workout, and hope it went well. If he can continue to develop a jumpshot, I think he'd be awesome for us. A lineup with Rondo, Bradley and Taylor would have the potential for legendary perimeter defense.

Now, someone get me a John Jenkins, Doron Lamb, Arnett Moultrie and Royce White workout, and I'll be a happy guy.

Yeah, Orlando Johnson intrigues me as well. He certainly looks  like an intriguing prospect. I really hope we can get some guys who can score, we really need help getting points. Our inability to score really hurts us against elite teams.

Myeres Leonard is going to be a Marcin Gortat type player IMO. He already has a very nice jump hook that he can get off against anyone in the NBA. He is also very strong, athletic and seems to have good foot work . I would LOVE to add him with one of our picks, but he is likely to go in the top 15 .

I also really like Nicholson a lot . Great low post game ( big al like ) . Has extended his range to 3pt and shot a very good % the last half of the season. He would greatly benefit the c's by giving them a low post option they can throw it down to to get easy buckets without having to wear out PP,KG ,Ray and Rondo trying to get a shot on the offensive end every time down .

Barnes and Ross aren't going to be around when we pick(unless we can trade into the to 12).

I would love to see Royce White in Green to. The kid is going to be a player of at least Boris Diaw's caliber , which is a very good role player on a contender or he could be even better , like a Rondo at the PF spot. He does everything on the court. Averaged 13/9/5 , but isn't a very good shooter at the moment ( much like Rondo at kentucky)

White pretty much dominated against Kentucky and their NBA front court of Davis and Jones .He put up 23 pts, 9 rebs,4 asts and 3 stls on 9-12 shooting , and there was at least 2 times he took the ball coast to coast and blew by kidd-gilchrist and Anthony Davis and dunked it. He is going to be really good I think !

Agree on White.  If he's there when we pick, I think it's a no brainer ala Avery Bradley that you have to take him.  But I think someone before us will say the same thing(and rightfully so).  It just doubly applies to us because we need the size and we have 2 picks.

Also agreed on Nicholson.  Posted about him in another thread, but the guy just has great touch everywhere on the floor.  Saw him play against UMass and he can shoot 3's, midrange, and has a lot of nice little post hook type shots in the paint.  He is a good rebounder and shot blocker too.

24yo BU player?  I take it they're having him in to give someone else someone to play against.

If we can't or won't resign Jeff Green, I want our Paul replacement to be Jeff Taylor.

Wouldn't mind having both Jeffs. I know that the shooting might be a little suspect, but can you imagine a lineup of Rondo/Bradley/Taylor/Green/Garnett.

Defensively and athletically that's a scary thought. No team could run with us.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Happy to see Miller finally on the list. Does this make it Harkless first time working out with us or second? I know he was said to have a workout with us, but don't know if this one is it.

Moe Harkless is the guy we should get at all costs.  If we need to trade both picks to trade up for him, I'd do it.  Moe is the exact type of player to pair with rondo and doc would love him.  A 3 who can play 4.  A gazelle to run the court w rondo who is a great natural rebounder.  He has the skills to become a very good shooter and dribbler as a 3/4, and learning under pierce and kg would do wonders for him.  He is similar to Avery Bradley in that if he stayed for school for his soph year, he's prob a top 5 pick next year.  That's the kind of player we want and that's the kind Danny covets.  Rumors have gs and tor interested in him at 7 and 8, but if he gets past Toronto, we need to do whatever we can to grab him.  Will be a future all star in the league.
