  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
The Mavericks will add some beef, some talent, and a head case all wrapped into one (kind of like my starting center).

C - Demarcus Cousins

As an unabashed DMC fanboy, I love this selection.

Like this pick. I don't think he's a headcase at all. As soon as Westphal was out we never heard any head case issues on him. He's shooting really bad % as a big man though.
And still doesn't play much defense.

Terrific prospect but not much of a player in current terms.
He is my third center and in this format, I think that what he brings is incredibly valuable.  I mean 18/11 is pretty good no matter how you come about it.  Plus, I think he fits in with the whole theme of my team.

Whats your teams theme?

My suggestion: 'A Night Under The Sea'.

Long downtime between picks here ... another 45 minutes to go.

Anyway, good chance to figure out what to do with these last two picks.

I want my team to go full bore, fast break everything, and work quickly all game long.  Thus, I tried to get highly skilled offensive players that could run and while I have some solid defenders mixed in, defense is clearly not my teams strength.  My big guys all rebound well and most of them are solid passers with decent range on jump shots.  Obviously some guys fit better than others, but that is the gist.  And I didn't start out with this in mind, but after the first few picks, I thought that this type of team would work the best and give me the best shot of actually winning games.  It is why I took Westbrook even though I had Rose, why I took Bosh before I even took my last starter, etc.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

I have a meeting, but will be back in about 30 min..if my turn comes up, give me about 10-15 min then skip me. :).

I can pick after Who.

This is our last round, right?

And we pick coaches today or tomorrow?

Honestly, I hadn't even thought of it. Id like some input here. When should we be selecting coaches?

I always find the coaches kinda pointless to be honest

Impatient so much can't count all the ways,
I'd pick for you girl but all they can say is,
'There ain't no list.'
They never get tired of puttin Nash down and,
I never know when I come around,
What I'm gonna find,
Don't let them make up your mind
Don't you know..

I wouldn't bother with a coaches round.
