I read somewhere, can't remember where, that Carlos Boozer is above average at defending the center position. Any truth to that rumor?

That's a Hobb-itual rumor I hear on this site. I've also heard that he and Zach Randolph could totes function on the same team.

Boozer is a very nice pickup.

Good option to be able to go to when you want more offense on the floor from your big men.

Exceptin the playoffs.

Yes and no, Down the stretch in the playoffs when my team needs offense you will probably see a lineup of

Parker
Rip
Roy
Boozer
Duncan

With Schrempf mixed in some at SF pushing Roy back to the SG spot

I think in a stress situation you can do alot worse than Boozer as your 5th option offensively.

I really like how Boozer fits too with Brandon Roy, Tony Parker and Tim Duncan.

Great pick and roll options there.

Two big men with strong jump shots, very good passers, strong screens and can puts points on the board. Guys who have to be guarded closely and will help create space for your guards to exploit. They can both play in the low post, mid post and high post. Ben Wallace will be a solid complement to Boozer too when Duncan rests. Boozer gives you a lot of options.

Boozer is a very nice pickup.

Good option to be able to go to when you want more offense on the floor from your big men.

Exceptin the playoffs.

24/12/3 on 54% shooting while taking his team to the Western Conference Finals in the year I assume Rondo is going to pick.

Jokes aside, Boozer is a fantastic pick at this point in the game.
