  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Do you guys wanna talk about how awesome my team offense is? Beautiful brand of basketball, ya dig?

So much passing, but there could always be more.

Shawn Marion blah blah, out of position blah blah, Steve Nash blah blah, better as a power forward.

Nitpicking out of the gates, Hill is your SG Rice is your SF.

Slightly more in depth, I'm having a hard time visualizing how your offense would run. Is there an NBA team past/present you could compare to in order to help me out.

Shawn Marion better as a power forward.
He really was, especially in his prime. Still an excellent SF but he really excelled defensively/offensively at the 4.

The Pacers select Rajon Rondo

Call it the ultimate homer pick if you will, but I can't think of another point guard right now that I'd rather have leading my team. The guy's a ball of energy, and a proven playoff performer and champion. His will to win has been phenomenal recently, which is why I'm most likely going to choose this season. He's definitely the best passer in the game right now, and his tremendous defense and rebounding are also plusses. Say what you want about Rondo, but I can't think of a better fit right now for my team.

So much size on the perimeter and some good passing, just not sure there's a clear best player among 4 score first guys and all of them have the right to claim to be the primary offensive option.

Made a Belieber outta me this season. Don't love him on your team with LeBron, but the whole 'LeBron needs Chauncey Billups, not a true pass-first point' line of thinking is a bit questionable now with the problems the Heat can have moving the ball.

Won't disagree, and like I said when I picked him I wouldn't rule it out. When I drafted him I thought there was a drop off in talent and the difference between the top player in each position and say, the tenth best player in the position wasn't monumental. So I took a guy who provided a super unique skill set and a lot of flexibility.

EDIT/CONTINUED: Sorry, something came up for a second. Still, he'll be a great wing defender for me, had a few seasons where he was fairly reliable from behind the arc and I really, really think his slashing abilities will be a terrific compliment to a team built around great passing.

Dons check your PM's.

To everyone else, if you wanna move back, I'm offering the 5(13) and a later pick switch for the privilege as long as my guy stays on the board.

In regards to the last part you said, I think LeBron needs a guy like Rondo. LeBron can play a Paul Pierce type role offensively. He'll still bring up the ball and facilitate the offense at times, but having Rondo around will take some major pressure off him.

There's certainly some problems, but heavens, that combination could get out in transition and punish. Would love to see CFF build this team around the fun n gun.
