Here is a guy who can play 1-3. Really liked his versatility.

Round 11: June 7th

Rd      Pk      Ovr#      Time      Team (GM)
   11      1      (177)      4:00 PM      Sixers (Who) kyle lowry
   11      2      (178)      4:05 PM      Lakers (GreenFaith1819)   Antonio Davis.
   11      3      (179)      4:10 PM      Knicks (Rondo2287) Emeka Okafor
11      4      (180)      4:15 PM      Pacers (Celtic Fan Forever)  Hedo Turkoglu
   11      5      (181)      4:20 PM      Grizzlies (Dons)   Jim Jackson
   11      6      (182)      4:25 PM      Hawks (wdleehi/Redz)  Robert Horry
   11      7      (183)      4:30 PM      Mavericks (Moranis)Leandro Barbosa
   11      8      (184)      4:35 PM      Clippers (Bahku) Klay Thompson
   11      9      (185)      4:40 PM      Celtics (KCatTheStripe) Kendrick Perkins
   11      10      (186)      4:45 PM      Bulls (33-00-32)   Shareef Abdur-Rahim
   11      11      (187)      4:50 PM      Thunder (Kane3387) Jalen Rose
   11      12      (188)      4:55 PM      Magic (Start Orien)
   11      13      (189)      5:00 PM      Spurs (IP)
   11      14      (190)      5:05 PM      Nuggets (Yoki)
   11      15      (191)      5:10 PM      Jazz (bdm860)
   11      16      (192)      5:15 PM      Heat (RebusRankin)

I like it too, good pick.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Oh why the heck not, Kendrick Perkins
I like Perk in this. Valuable physical post defender.

I was considering him with my next pick if he were still available.
The only thing I'd wonder is which year to pick.

Probably 08-09, he had his knee issues start that year but overall by far his best season. Great job handling far more responsibility and minutes once KG went out. Had a great playoff run where he was the only defensive big man the C's had.

Two excellent picks. I am shocked that both lasted this long.

Especially Kenyon Martin who I think will be one of the best backup PFs in the league. Terrific defender, solid defender and solid offensive player. I thought he would have gone in 5th or 6th round. He would have been a very nice guy to round out someone's starting lineup.

Kenyon Martin was one of the main guys I was considering had I not taken Shawn Kemp and again considered strongly when drafting Serge Ibaka.

I remember every time we played the Net's he'd absolutely dismantle Antoine. Was always so incredibly frustrating.

Too athletic and defensively sound for Antoine. He never stood a chance.

He had his microfactrure surgery almost 10 years ago now right?

Man he used to FLY.....

Makes me sad remembering what he was, him/Amar'e/KG. At least KG's happened at age 34 and he's bounced back better than I ever dreamed.

Too athletic, too much fried chicken, and defensively sound for Antoine. He never stood a chance.
Fixed that for you.

Ya. Obviously, it wasn't like Antoine Walker was Michael Jordan. But I can't remember a player that offensively talented feeling so obsolete

I strongly considered Martin instead of Barbosa, but don't actually think Martin is well suited in this type of situation.  He was never a very strong rebounder, has limited offensive moves, and while he was a good defender, I certainly wouldn't call him elite and he never made an All Defensive team.  In addition the years he was at best defensively he was a much more limited offensive player (often below 100 in ORTG).  He also was rarely healthy.  Just not the type of guy you really want coming off the bench.  Probably would have been fine as a starter (in a more shallow league), but not a good bench player.  Just my take and why I passed on him for Barbosa, who is definitely suited for a bench role.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

I'm not really following your logic on why he's not a good bench player.

He finished 2 seasons with the Nets, so not a real problem there. And if anything, I'd think his offensive limitations would be better served in this format as an energy guy. Finishing breaks, tip in dunks, etc.

And while he didn't make any all defensive teams he did have the 4th his defensive rating in 03-04. I haven't the least idea what that means, but I assume it's real impressive.
