I would really love if we could trade up for Perry Jones III or Jeremy Lamb. Depends on what direction you head in, and if you bring Jeff Green back. But if you wanted to play a small ball with PJIII, JG, AB, and Rondo, that could be useful for a number of years.

Why anyone thinks the Purdue Two have an iota of value to the league escapes me.
Their current value is to match salaries in some sort of a player for player deal involving draft picks. But it doesn't make sense to include them in a 2 for 1 draft pick deal.
Celtics fan for life.

I would not touch P Jones the III with a ten foot pole.  He struggled mightily against elite talent.

They have as much value as some of the people being mentioned here.

I think a good target wold be Zeller, he's not elite but with the lack of good centers in the league I think he could help a lot.

However, I think it would be better value to make the two picks. Especially on a team that has so few players signed to contracts.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Lowry "can't co-exist with McHale"...

Lowry + Scola for Rondo + 21 + 22 + JJJ + Moore (for salary reasons) ??  Houston could surely move up in the draft with now 3 first round picks.  And bring back the gang plus Green for one more go?

Lowry/AB
AB/Ray
Pierce/Green
Scola/Green
KG/Scola/Steimsma

That's a very good team.  The only question would be if Ray would come back, but I think the Big 3 would be happy to have Lowry as a point guard.  He's the kind of tough player I think KG would have a lot of respect for.  If Ray didn't come back, we could try to bring back Bass/Pietrus instead.  I think I'd even prefer this team actually

Lowry/AB
AB/Pietrus
Pierce/Green
Scola/Bass/Green
KG/Scola/Steimsma

I think we should trade one of our picks to move up but definitely not both of them. Not sure about JJJ, I keep thinking he might have a Bradley type year next year. Maybe for Moore, because of Rondo and Bradley. I would trade the 21st pick + Moore and other fillers to move to and see if we can possibly snatch Terrance Jones

Then use our 22nd pick to grab either Fab Melo or Royce White

I'm unsure about trading young players who haven't really had a chance to show their stuff. Some people wanted to trade Bradley in his first season, and look how good he's turned out to be. Also, it seems we traded a lot of young guys during Pitino's tenure, and we ended up watching Chauncey Billups and Joe Johnson light it up for other teams. Don't wanna do that again. I think we at least need to give JJJ and Moore a legitimate chance to prove themselves.

The goal is to trade players who other teams overvalue and will overpay for.  If young players are going to end up as disappointments, then a team has to try to figure that out before other teams do and trade them while they are still valued for potential.

As a rookie, I thought that Bradley showed a lot of promise and was going to blossom as soon as the Celtics quit trying to force him to be a point guard.  I haven't seen anything from JJJ and Moore that makes me as optimistic about their chances.

Yep, we need a young "GOOD" center . If KG stay , retires or goes.... still need a REAL center.  I hate playing NBA ball with power forwards at the 5 postion.

If they moved up to the 12-15 range and he isnt taken before that I wouldnt mind a guy like Sullinger. We need someone with size and potential

If the Celtics could trade up and get Tyler Zeller that would be worth it.  He is big, rebounds, plays good D and runs the floor.  HE is NOT a real low post threat with only one good move, being the half hook he can go both ways with, but he can be taught.

Zeller would be worth the move.  If not just take Fab Melo, the guy needs work but he has serious potential and can be drafted 20-32 easy.

As for the 2 Purdue players, they are Purdue players from the Big 10.  Overrated, undersized, lacking key skills.  They were both a waste to draft and are worth nothing.

As a North Carolina Alum and fan I have never, ever worried one bit about Purdue or anyone who ever played from them.  If I see Purdue on the schedule the question is not if UNC will win its will they cover the 20pt spread.  Not much confidence in anyone from Purdue, but to be fair I usually feel that way about all Big Ten teams.

This is all anecdotal, take it for what its worth.

If you can get a Henson or Zeller or I agree with the above poster Sullinger, you trade for them.

You'll regret that comment someday.  That day could be sooner rather than later.

Like Zeller, but the last center from UNC the Celtics took was Eric Montross
