It is a sad day. Now who is going to make ridiculous trades for us like Bass for BBD?
BBD played very well in the series against Indiana.
Honestly I think the verdict is still out on that trade.
He played very poorly next to Dwight Howard, which is what they acquired him to do.
He upped his production/role admirably in Howard's absence but still wasn't great overall. His RB% was only a 14 as a C, in that series the Pacers were getting nearly HALF of their missed shots against the Magic starters. Also his TS% was below .500 and his team defense was as limited as it was in boston.
He did do a very good job taking care of either West or Hibbert when he got to check them in the post. Unfortunately Ryan Anderson was so weak that they took turns going nuts.
Baby's shown he can step into the bigger role for flashes, but he can't sustain it. But then again with the lack of help for him down low I can't really blame him, Pacers were just far too much for him and his team.
