Felger is a negative idiot.  A lot of Celtics fans probably relate to him based on some of the crap I read on here.  I've been a die hard Celtics fan for my entire life.  The year before they got KG and Ray I saw 17 games live.  That year I also blogged on here a lot.  It seems along with the championship came a bunch of fools on here.  Celtics lose, we need to trade everyone.  Felger fits in with these negative Nancies.  Truthfully though, if I never had to listen to Felger again, I'd be happy.  I would love to see Felger cover MMA, I'd give anything to get in the cage with that edited-----.

My stance on the matter is if you've made it this far to have a profile on the blog your a fan in my book. Same to those who are just guests. We all started out as one.

We may not all agree on every aspect of the team and how its run etc. etc. but we all root for the same team and colors. That's good enough for me.

I suppose you are right.  I just remember a happy time when we were all on here tossing around trade ideas trying to improve our team(that was terrible by the way).  The big enemy was some guy(whose name escapes me in my old age) who used to break "inside" info on trades that never happened.  I remember how happy we were to get Ray and then even more so when we got KG.  And, once again, now that we are a top team with all this talent, it's frustrating to constantly read negative comments from fans and especially from dinks like Felger.  I didn't like him in the first place and this made it worse.  Sorry, I get a little emotional when it comes to my team.

Felger is not a fan of Boston sports teams personally having been raised in the Midwest. because of that he loves playing the contrarian on the Boston sports scene and getting people to listen and watch him because they love to hate him.

Its his schtick. And he revels in it because he doesn't like the Boston sports teams.

I can't wait for him to pull a Jim Rome with Jim Everett and get popped by some Boston athlete some day because he takes his schtick to far.

Agreed (TP) ... there's no sports personality I'd enjoy seeing get popped more than Felger ... he is the most arrogant, obnoxious, narcissistic, anti-Celtics, know-it-all, to ever come down the Mass pike.

I couldn't believe it when CSNNE gave him and his alter-ego idiot appendage, Mazz, a four-hour, lame Hub version, blatant copy of the Mike & Mke Show every afternoon, instead of replaying the Celtics games, (like last year), at a time when when the majority of New England fans are actually awake to watch.

He is the only sports-caster personality that I just can not take in any amount anymore, and I will change the channel immediately when I see his visage or hear an instant of his "I absolutely live to hear the sound of my own voice" voice, (and I'm holding back).

Other than that, he's great.

i personally change the channel as soon as he comes on, tp for tommy on calling him out as well
if i'm an owner of the celtics i'd be working to get him sent back to where he came
