Felger is a negative idiot.  A lot of Celtics fans probably relate to him based on some of the crap I read on here.  I've been a die hard Celtics fan for my entire life.  The year before they got KG and Ray I saw 17 games live.  That year I also blogged on here a lot.  It seems along with the championship came a bunch of fools on here.  Celtics lose, we need to trade everyone.  Felger fits in with these negative Nancies.  Truthfully though, if I never had to listen to Felger again, I'd be happy.  I would love to see Felger cover MMA, I'd give anything to get in the cage with that edited-----.

Who's the one Celtic affiliated guy that Celticsbloggers have never talked about not liking? Only one I can think of is Mike Gorman and maybe Sean grande.

Causei hear people hate on bill simmons, dan shaun, bob ryan, gary tanguay, donny Marshall, Dickerson, Heinson, Walton, Felger etc etc etc.

I think Felger more than anything doesn't like how the Celtic fans can be so sensitive about their team sometimes

Grande's hair bothers me.  I got nothing for Gorman though, he is the best in the business.

? hes openly been saying this for years now and when tommy said "puckhead" on the game broadcast the other night..he was actually reffering to Felger...the biggest local celtic hate their is....he does however think theyre going to make a serious run this season...but as you say is not rooting for it

He's been pretty clear about not liking the Celtics - which is fine.  The part that I don't like is that he doesn't like to talk about the Celtics because of his dislike for the NBA in general (and preference to the Bruins and the NHL).  I was just glad to hear them talking some hoops of the Hub.

I don't care if he is not a Celtics fan, but preferring the NHL to the NBA is a black mark in my book.

Ok I'm sorry for cursing and pointing out your spelling error.  I know it's not right to generalize, but it's frustrating coming on here and seeing so much negativity towards our team.  Pierce has a so-so game and it's time to trade him.  Rondo misses a shot, let's trade him.  I know not everyone feels that way, but it's just frustrating to a real fan.

While I understand that frustration, I wish more of the sports media would stick with what they know.  Felger is great with the Pats and Bruins, but admittedly knows very little about the C's and the NBA in general.  So, he stays away from it, unless completely necessary.

There are a lot of other guys who talk about the C's like they are an authority on them, when it is clear that about 90% of the posters on this site have more basketball knowledge in their little fingers. 

True.  And to his credit he knew today was one of those days where the C's were the main story.

I think Felger & Mazz are easily the best in town.  Entertainment and information wise.

I like Felger on his worst day more than Big O on his best. That's for sure. Big O is lucky he has Mike Holley to cover up for him now

Kind of surprising, he's been saying the last week about how much heart the Celtics have.  The guy doesn't just dislike the celtics though, he hates the NBA.  I also think Felger is awesome, his opinion may be the minority, but at least he says what's on his mind.  Felger and Mazz>anything on WEEI.
